Good recommendations.
What I got out of the video is to buy or rent more cards to be versatile 👍
Basically what I understood too.

Question for you, how do you see what summoners the opponent played in the previous battles?
I am only aware of the splinter they played and not the details (I am new)
If you hover over the Splinter icon (e.g. Fire) on the Opponent tab when the Battle starts, you can see their recent teams, including Summoner
Thank you!
The optimal strategy will unfortunately be to skip days where you don't have a good deck for the given focus and let the ECR recharge until a more favorable context. You'll want to play more when you have a bigger edge, not wasting ECR on lower return context.
But that raise a good question : Across a whole season, what will be the breakdown of the ROI contribution for each of the earning aspects : Daily focus, Season Chest, Battle rewards DEC (SPS soon!). In the past, it always have been more profitable to play for the win over the daily quest. Completing daily quest were incidentals.. and they still might be with the new format.
Sounds like a cool update.
It’s definitely going to give an advantage to those of us who have a lot of cards.
I look forward to the rental market taking off.
