Another week Another battle challenge to accomplish.

For this weeks challenge will feature the ruleset BACK TO BASICS where all monsters will lose all abilities. This Rule is really challenging for many, because proper monster placement will win in this rulesets.

My usual strategy when Back to Basics ruleset pops is I place to tanks with the most health in position 1 and 2, then place ranged and magic monster at the back placing the once with the larger health first.

The Battle , Monster Selection and Placement

For my batlle aside from Back to Basic , Unprotected and Counterspell is also available, this makes the card selection more predictable.

Counterspell made us both chose mostly ranged monsters, since its a disadvantage to use magic monsters

Also unprotected made it more clearer that ranged monster will have a good fight since all monsters will have no armor.

So Upon Checking this ruleset a decision is Made that I will Use Quix the Devious, but honestly this is the best choice for me, since I only Have Lux and Quix as Summoners, I also considered this to be a lucky battles since dragon is not banned.

Quix is very suited for the ruleset given because having -1 ranged already gave me an advantage plus those -1 speed will surely help me in getting those misses from the enemy.

As part of my original strategy in back to basics ruleset I chose the element with high health monsters. And since I'm dealing with a high mana game ,it gave me more option to select monsters with high health. I also take into consideration that since we will both used mostly ranged monster I will choose a high speed tank for me to get those misses. And surely that plan worked.

You maybe questioning those magic picks, but since my magic monsters have a ton of health and can just absorb that magic reflect,I think their damage will compensate for that issue.

Battle Preview

Those debuffs from quix surely made this battle on my side.
The other team used mostly ranged to I was able to reduce all his damage. And with that speed advantage I was able to attack first and kill his super fat tank.

And for the next round that speed difference sure proved me that it is a valuable advantage.
Many shouts missed , this made my first tank survive the first round.

Just by looking at the image above, it is already clear who is the winner. The layer of health of heath that my team have made it hard for the other team to penetrate.

Until the last round they weren't able to kill my second tank, My plan really worked well, and thas was another victory on my way to diamond this season.
