Around The World: Challenge - #6/4- Beauty After the Rain

During this months it is common in our province to rain during the afternoon, we live in one of the elevated provinces of the Philippines called Benguet. The weather here is colder compared to other places , and just like I said it usually rains.

One day after work, a heavy rain poured again while we were travelling going in our home and when we are near our place it stopped and only a drizzle is filling the sky. We arrived at our grandfathers house and it is still raining but this time rays of the sun is penatrating the dark clouds above . The rays of the sun revealed a beauty that I rarely see since not everyday the heavens gives this perfect combination of the sun and rain.

My camera may not capture the true beauty of the rainbow but my eyes were there to appreciate its full beauty. This sight calms me and takes away all those stress from work. Aside from the rainbow, the place alone makes the soul more calm, not much engine sound from vehicles can be heard and no tall buildings cover the sky, it's all nature's beauty just waiting for me to stop look around and appreciate all this creations.

What makes it better is that the flowers of the Dragon Fruit that our grandfather planted are now starting to bloom, only a couple of months from now and we can taste those sweet fruit. So this is it for now, hope you enjoyed the view like I did, Have a good day!
