#99 Splinterlands Art Contest - Thanalorian Scion in action and ready to rumble (ENG/ DE)

Hello dear Alien Art Crew, Hive Community and Splinterlands Fans,

Oh my God. I don't know what to say. Thank you!!!! Thanks to everyone who visits my blog, writes comments and supports me. This is the first time I have won 2nd place in the Splinterlands Contest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and to the whole Splinterlands team for your motivation, support, feedback and creativity in creating new characters.

Wow, yesterday I was crying with joy about the 2nd place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I hope all the more that my new fanart creation and idea is not too bad.

So, this week I've decided on Thanalorian-Scion.

The technique used is based on a layer and a pen only.

By using the brush "feather holder" (hard) in various widths and intensities, I was able to get something like subtleties and shadows into the picture.

Yes, I fucking painted each hair individually. Doing this is really a kind of meditation, to put it nicely. It just takes time... Forever... Lol

I only used the "fill tool" for the background. I really didn't want to spend another 10 hours creating the background with individual strokes. Maybe next time. 😅

Then when I was done, I thought, "hmm, how would the AI pimp and enhance my drawing?" So I decided to create a few more AI variants. I can't remember the prompts at the moment. But I changed the style from drawing, anime to horror.

But I really liked one variant, I just had to make a few corrections from my point of view.

So, today my contribution to the Splinterlands Art Contest is AI computer generated, but it is based on the picture I drew for hours and was also improved by me afterwards. I hope to be able to add more value to this fanart. What do you like better? Hand-drawn or created by AI? I think if humans can do it properly, AI can be as useful as Photoshop. It could help many artists finish their work faster. Especially in areas where speed is of the essence. Like marketing or advertising. But I don't think that human-created art will ever die out. What do you think?

Ich habe zum ersten mal den 2ten Platz beim Splinterlands Contest gemacht. Ich hoffe umso mehr, dass meine neue Fanart Kreation und Idee nicht zu schlecht ist.

Also, entschieden habe ich mich diese Woche für Thanalorian-Scion.

Die angewandte Technik basiert auf einem Layer und einen Stift nur.

Indem ich den Pinsel "Federhalter" (hart) in diversen breiten und Intensitäten nutze, war es mir möglich, so etwas wie Feinheiten und Schatten in das Bild zu bekommen.

Jaaaa, ich habe verdammt nochmal jedes Haar einzeln gemalt. Das zu machen ist echt eine Art Meditation, ums nett auszudrücken. Es dauert halt... Ewig... Lol

Nur beim Hintergrund hatte ich das "Füllwerkzeug" genutzt. Ich wollte echt nicht noch 10 Stunden den Hintergrund mit einzelnen Strichen erschaffen. Vielleicht nächste mal. 😅

Als ich dann fertig war, dachte ich, "hm, wie würde die KI meine Zeichnung aufmotzen und verbessern?" Also entschloss ich mich noch ein paar AI Varianten zu kreieren. Ich weiss die Promt grad net mehr. Aber den Stil wechselte ich von drawing, anime zu horror.

Doch eine Variante gefiel mir echt gut, nur ein bisschen nach korrigieren musste ich aus meiner Sichtweise.

Also, heute ist mein Beitrag zum Splinterlands Art Contest zwar KI Computer generiert, aber es basiert auf meinem stundenlang gezeichneten Bild und wurde von mir auch noch nachträglich verbessert. Ich hoffe somit dieser Fanart mehr Mehrwert geben zu können. Was gefällt euchh besser? Handgezeichnet oder KI erschaffen? Ich denke, wenn der Mensch es anständig schafft zu machen, kann KI so nützlich sein wie Photoshop. Es könnte von vielen Künstlern die Arbeit schneller fertig gestalten. Grad in Bereichen, in denen es um Schnelligkeit geht. Wie Marketing oder Werbung. Aber ich glaube nicht, dass menschlich erschaffene Kunst jemals aussterben wird. Was meint ihr?

Mostly I draw freestyle. But only when I know what I do. If I try new stuff, perspectives or positions I use more sketching and helping strokes. But such poses I am used to draw since I am small.

As you see I used only one layer. Jup. I risked it. 😅

Hopefully you can see that I also use only one drawing tool.

I added the drawn picture as a base and as a prompt something like beautiful blond superhero, then I just changed the style.
