#115 Splinterlands Art - Cornealus merged with DS Nakime & Nomos merged with JJK Sukuna (ENG/ DE)

Cornealus vs Nomos - Nakime vs Sukuna

Wow, it's taking me a really long time at the moment to be able to contribute something nice. Sorry about that. Hm, maybe I'm “just” drawing something again. Animating - even if very simplified - takes a lot of time, unfortunately. Let's see, I do enjoy making such fanart or fanmade clips. Well, let me surprise you.

Today I would love to take part in the competition with my Splinterlands creation. It has degenerated... I combined Cornealus the Eye and Nomos as Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen crossover fanart.

Yay, freaky. Maybe too much for one or the other, but I just thought that these characters go so damn well together that it's only logical to combine them for once.

As for Cornealus. His secret is that he is related and connected to the Upper Moon 4 Nakime in the multiverse of gaming, cartoons and anime in one universe. However, Nakime is only the “shell” of Cornealus. Just like in the movie “Men in Black” the salesman whose head opened and inside was an alien. 😂😂😂👽👾Yeah, I have really freaky artistic thoughts. That's why I wanted to try to make it so that Cornealus has a projection or illusion, a kind of shell for his eye that he can create.

Combining Nomos with Sukuna, the Curse King, was very appealing and fitting because of the visuals, as both are similar appearances.

So I combined Sukuna's laughter and facial expression and posture with Nomos details.

Both are still facing each other in battle. At the same time, one can also interpret that Demon Slayers Nakime is fighting Jujutsu Kaisens Sukuna.

I hope you like my weird idea and realization.

That wasn't enough for me, so I wanted to get everything moving a little, with the right music, but also a mini dialog.

At the end, I almost had the idea of briefly incorporating the Splinterlands cards of Cornelius and Nomos at one point, as if Upper Moon 4 and Sukuna were deliberately switching to the roles of Cornealus and Nomos in order to compete against each other on the playing field in the Splinterlands game-also a kind of player perspective you xan say.

Oh yes, the thought and my idea degenerated from a drawing to a few seconds of animation with sound and dialog.

But now a few of the steps and the origins.

Hui, ich brauche momentan echt lange, um etwas schönes beitragen zu können. Verzeihung deshalb. Hm, vielleicht zeichne ich schlichtweg mal wieder "nur" etwas. Das Animieren - auch wenn sehr vereinfacht-nimmt viel Zeit in Anspruch leider. Mal schauen, den Spaß macht es mir schon, solch fanart oder fanmade Clips zu machen. Nun ja, lass dich überraschen.

Heute würde ich sehr gerne mit meiner Splinterlands Kreation den Wettbewerb beiwohnen. Es ist ausgeartet... Ich habe Cornealus das Auge und Nomos als Demon Slayer und Jujutsu Kaisen Crossover fanart kombiniert.

Jaaa, freaky. Vielleicht auch für den ein oder die andere zu viel, aber ich fand einfach, dass diese Charaktere so verdammt gut zusammen passen, dass es nur logisch ist, diese mal zu kombinieren.

Was Cornealus betrifft. Dessen Geheimnis ist es, dass er im Multiverse des Gaming, Cartoons und Animes in einem Universum mit dem Upper Moon 4 Nakime verwandt und verbunden ist. Allerdings ist Nakime nur die "Hülle" von Cornealus. So wie bei dem Film "Men in Black" der Verkäufer, dessen Kopf aufging und drinne saß ein Alien. 😂😂😂👽👾Ja, ich habe echt freakige künstlerische Gedanken. Deshalb wollte ich es versuchen so darzustellen, dass Cornealus eine Projektion oder Illusion, eine Art Hülle für sein Auge hat, welches er sich erschaffen kann.

Nomos mit Sukuna, dem Fluchkönig zu kombinieren, war wegen der Optik sehr ansprechend und treffend, da beide ähnliche Erscheinungen sind.

Daher kombinierte ich das Lachen und den Gesichtsausdruck und Körperhaltung von Sukuna mit Nomos Details.

Beide stehen sich auch nun noch im Kampf gegenüber. Zeitgleich kann man ebenso interpretieren, dass Demon Slayers Nakime gegen Jujutsu Kaisens Sukuna antritt.

Ich hoffe dir gefällt meine weirde Idee und Umsetzung.

Das hatte mir dann auch nicht gereicht, so dass ich alles in Bewegung ein wenig bekommen wollte, mit der passenden Musik, aber auch noch einen Mini-Dialog.

Am Ende fast war dann noch eine Idee, die Splinterlands Karten von Cornealus und Nomos an einer Stelle kurz einzubauen, als würden Upper Moon 4 und Sukuna bewusst in die Rollen von Cornealus und Nomos wechseln, um auf dem Spielfeld gegeneinander anzutreten.

Oh ja, der Gedanke und meine Idee ist von einer Zeichnung zu ein paar Sekunden animation mit Ton und Dialog ausgeartet.

Nun aber ein paar der Schritte und die Entstehungen.

Started the sketching. But not long. Coloring was more in focus not to draw a clear sketch.

As in between step I started blending with grey. For 5 minutes I was playing with the idea of a blackwhite drawing but decided to add colors soon. Thought it would be better.

I colored part for part, feom the top to the button, step by step.

Now the eyeball Cornealus. It's his turn now.

I checked ones if the sizes fits, so it will work out to give Cornealus his vessel or shell or illusional body of Nakime.

Some frame impressions how it show looks like. The "hands and feet" of Cornelius are connected to the organs of Nakime. The brain and throat.

Also in my finished version you can see the Splinterlands cards, so the connection is more stronger and it seems a bit like the characters are playing the game or they are switching to the characters of the game. Just thought it would be funny to add it as a kind of easter egg.

Some tryings of animations

Just some different details. Not much. But what is the difference? First only the eye is. Moving and active, Nomos is not doing anything. Thats why I had another Idea of getting more action in... Secondly I took frame by frame of the background and the single changes and created the first animation only with Cornealus. After I reworked it and added a sliding in and moving Nomos Sukuna. So it seems more alive and more is going on in the animation, even whem it looks simple. Both characters are doing something now. A kind of pimping it up. I think it is better, what you think?
