#100 Splinterlands Art Contest - female Astral Entity humanoid variation (ENG/ DE)
Hello dear Alien Art Crew, Hive Community and Splinterlands Fans,
Hello everyone, today I'm proud to present my hundredth fanart drawing. Wow. When I started here, I never thought that I would make 100 drawings of a game. I have to admit, I messed up one drawing! Yup, then I drew it again yesterday to today and now it should fit. Today I want to share my fanart version of the Splinterlands character "Astral Entity" with you.
I wanted to bring in a touch of Marvel and other comic characters. Like the blue godlike hero from Watchmen or the Elements from Marvel. I sincerely hope you like it. Let me know in a comment.

Hallöchen liebe Leute, heute darf ich meine hundertste Fanart Zeichnung präsentieren. Wow. Als ich hier angefangen hatte, hätte ich nie gedacht, dass ich mal 100 Zeichnungen von einem Game machen würde. Ich muss gestehen, ich hatte eine Zeichnung verkackt! Jup, dann hatte ich gestern zu heute nochmal gezeichnet und nun sollte es passen. Ich möchte heute meine Fanart Variante vom Splinterlands Charakter "Astral Entity" mit euch teilen.
Ich wollte einen Hauch Marvel und andere Comic Charaktere einbringen. Wie der blaue gottgleiche Held aus Watchmen oder die Elements von Marvel. Ich hoffe inständig es gefällt euch. Sagt es mir gern in einem Kommentar.
Here is my second attempt. Yes, you heard right. Below you can see my first, botched version. I start as I usually do. I start with the face.
Hier mein zweiter Versuch. Ja, richtig gehört. Weiter unten siehst du noch meine erste, verkackte Variante. Ich fange wie meist. Mit dem Gesicht an.
Everything was drawn on one layer, with just one brush. Very simple and without much fuss.
Alles wurde auf einer Ebene gezeichnet, mit nur einem Pinsel. Ganz schlicht und ohne viel Tamtam.
I came up with such a variation because I thought of watchmen and this blue all-god superhero. I created my variation based on this and Marvel Eternals.
Ich bin auf solch variation gekommen, da ich an watchmen denken musste und diesem blauen Allgott Superhelden. Daran und an Marvel Eternals angelehnt, kreierte ich meine Variante.
The universe should of course be reflected in the character. I hope I have succeeded?
Das Universum soll sich natürlich im Charakter widerspigeln. Ich hoffe es ist mir gelungen?

Yay... Here's my first, messed up drawing that I deleted. It still took me 8 hours of drawing. Aaarg. Never mind.
Jaaaa,... Hier meine erste, verkackte Zeichnung, die ich gelöscht hatte. Dafür gingen trotzdem 8 Std. Zeichnen druff. Aaarg. Egal.
I wanted it to be different, but in the end I thought this drawing was shitty. So I got rid of it. Fucked up is fucked up.
Ich wollte es dann doch anders haben, fand am Ende diese Zeichnung shitty. Also, weg damit. Verkackt ist verkackt.

To translate some of my german native words I used deepl.com. After I edited and corrected some parts because deepl.com couldn't translate all slang words perfectly. Just wanted to make this clear too.

I have supported you from the start and have watched your art skills grow phenomenally during the course of your time here. I missed the opportunity to nominate you for big whale votes for your post and I apologize. 100 committed attempts at anything deserves credit... especially artistic endeavors that have a theme. I haven't even had time to comment on your post until now. But, when selecting winners for the contest, I obviously skimmed your post.
I just now got to read it and study more in depth. I personally think your original concept was better than your 2.0 version. Both are great, so Don't get me wrong. I haven't had time or interest in playing the game for a long time... but Astral Entity was one of my fav art on the cards and a big switch-up card that I owned and used to pull off some epic wins.
I hope you choose to pick up where you left off or start again with fresh eyes and some contemplation on your approach. I would love to see your version of this card that is in your style but more true to form.... with lots of creativity. I don't think you fucked up and I thought it was going good. It just didn't go the way you hoped, expected, envisioned, or another myriad of real reasons in your mind's eye.
Go back and overcome that obstacle or start with fresh eyes. This is all just genuine motivational encouragement. You obviously don't have to do any of that. But trust how strongly I don't think you f'd up or that the art at the stage you stopped on was f'd up in any kind of way. Keep up the great work and I am sure the next week of catching up will also be interesting. Cheers my friend!

I love feedbacks and to read comments, and your feedback feels always true and honest. Aaah you liked my first try a bit? Yeah, I was not sure, I tried to bring a kind of marvel style in bht didn't worked out sooo well. Maybe I should train a bit more that comic style. As a kiddo I was better than now in drawing spiderman 🤣🤣🤣
