For the past year, WOO or Wrestling Organization Online has been hitting milestones after milestones in its development. With the backing of its ever-growing community, each pack sale event they held were sold out in record time with the last one lasting for just 99 seconds. And for this year of 2023, things are set to shift to a higher gear as the game readies the next phase of its development. Here are some reasons why I believe WOO will have a bullish 2023 run.

Land Sale

The game will be offering it's very first land sale this coming February 14 where 9,000 land plots (called cities in game) will be available for $20 each. This will be a whitelist event and will run for a month. After that, all unsold lands will be offered in a general sale. You can check the articles regarding the land sale here:

Game Launch

There is no official date set for the game launch yet but it is expected to happen sometime this year. Land will be an essential part of the game and all users who took part in the initial land sale will be gaining a definite advantage as they will be the first players that will have a chance to earn passively in the game.

Undervalued Assets and Token

As the utility of WOO NFTs are tied only to token mining at the moment, many have overlooked the potential of these assets. But once the land sale concludes and an official announcement of the game launch is released, prices of these NFTs are expected to pick up as more Hive users enter the game and there is not enough NFTs to go around. Even the currently circulating Alpha and Reward packs in the market are almost depleted.

The WOO token is also an integral part of the game as it is the primary in-game currency which will be used to upgrade cities and purchase structures, create promotions, heal wrestlers and repair gears, among others. It is also utilized in other ways such as land sale discounts, raffle tickets and more. Essentially, almost everything you do in the game will require WOO tokens. What's neat is that part of the transaction fees from NFT trades are used to buy back WOO, which regularly puts a buy pressure on the token.

A Growing List of Partnered Wrestlers

One of the main reasons why Bookerman founded WOO was to help out former wrestlers. Wrestlers being an independent contractor have little to no fallback when they retire. Former WCW/WWE wrestler, Perry Saturn, has been the first wrestler to gain a partnership with WOO which enabled him to receive part of the proceeds of the first pack sale. Suceeding partnerships included Raven and Sonny Onoo. These wrestlers will also receive the transaction fees from their NFTs when they are traded in the market. Additionally, a portion of future WOO sale event proceeds will be set aside and distributed to partners.

Beyond 2023

Wrestling Organization Online has projected a long term plan that extends to numerous years. After the game goes live, additional land plots (cities) will slowly be offered through general sales and partnerships until all 200,000 cities are distributed. There are also succeeding pack sales and eventually an introduction of gears.

Future wrestler partnerships will not only include veterans but also up-and-coming talents. Supporting these athletes can also be in the form of buying their merchandise for promotions. There's also talks of WOO sponsoring their very own real-life wrestling events.
