Friday GRINDay! - Blessings' on a Budget. ( < $14 USD )

Hey guys!

It's finally weekend! And as we know, this means more rewards for us in Gods Unchained.. I have been seeing a lot of archetypes of mage deck lately, and I decided to give it a try and improve my deck. The prices are not the cheapest, but both were teste in field form ranks 10-12! Try for yourself.

Also, I used to play war too with a deck I like to call "Super Aggro War", and I will share with you guys this one wich has been helping me a really lot! These kinds of archetypes have been floating around for quite sometime, and I will use it to grind Mythics this weekend 😁.

Mage Deck (0.0042 ETH or $13,39 USD)

After realizing what had to be changed I figured out I have to most likely stick to the class' flavour! Wich means in Magic deck, them wipes xD. Sometimes risking it more, by having more spells in deck is what I exacly do not want, though in this archetype, it is needed..

Key-Cards added:

Illuminate:

Core card in this deck, very low cost monster target damage. Use it whenever it fits, good in early gmae to control the board, and lategame for that nasty wipe. No more abusing of frontlines/backlines! Quick tip: useable in "Order" creatures too🤣..

Versatile Conjuration:

I think it's about playstyle, but I tend to use this card also as a Wipe Tool. It is really up to the player as it has 3 goods effects, though I have a strong feeling that the wipe is necessary for maintaining pressure, and always be threatin'.

Epiphany:

It stands its name! It does 6 damage to whatever target you wish bro, and draw a card! Like a Bazooka, aim it and blow it! Can help you kill important creatures, surprise with an unexpected win. Drawing also speeds up the deck.

Contextualization

Those were the cirurgical changes I thought had to be done, in order to adapt to very strong decks being held today! And the lack of super aggro decks I've been facing, wich is ALSO a good news for us, had me making this deck.

But knowing the deck's strenght, also allows me to know its weakness! Good thing we don't have to choose sides right? As Auros have already shown himself to be good at beating up dudes pretty efficiently. That is why I think it is good still nowadays.

As things in IRL, we have to follow paths, make choices.. Once a door closes, there is another one opened, and if I'm smart I can benefit from that. My learning path has always been something like this: (Hommer's bad Epiphany) 😁😁.

Push that first turn!!!

Ideally speaking the best case scenario we are having 2 followers deployed in our table right when it's our first round. That is why we have 1/3 of the deck as 1 mana creatures!

Protected/Frontline Creatures Mid-game

As the rounds go on, our goal here is to flood the table as fast as possible, making it impossible for the opponent to counter that. We know they will try their best to stop us, that is why we choose sepcific creatures working as a "MeatShield", or a bait.

Face Damage (i.e 6th turn)

Free-hitting god's face mechanic is really underrated I think! Other TCG's wouldn't allow this, and that is why I feel it needs to be explored.

One has another benefit, wich is having more access to santctum cards, for the favor generated by face attacks! (leads to a little more versatility, while maintaining the board with lots of creatures.)

End-Gamer.

The end-gamer itself is Overproof Brew. Since we are counting on that full board, and creatures with more than 1 health alive, we're hoping to get that Brew down to all of our creatures! In this case, photos are better than words I think.
