Former Magic Deck! - My 1st used in Weekends. Breakdown!
Hello guys!
Intro
Happy to be here again posting on Hive! It’s been a few days, some thing going thru though I’m alright! Haha so bros, I have something very special today to share with you.
This is the deck that made me get into Elyrian’s domain! Made me feel his power and inspire me through the magic adventure..
I kept it for a long time, but now, I think it really can be useful to you all too! I have seen a lot of tryhards haha so, let’s whack’em.
Former Deck - ($9.82 USD or 0.004 ETH)

Quick insight (for deck part, please skip this)
This deck made me recognize an other playstyle wich I wasn’t able to see untill then.
I was playing with straightforward decks, primarily Nature and War, and this really opened my mind up, I invite you to come with me in this journey of mine..
I just felt like Pharaoh Atem (Yami Yugi’s human and prime form) while he Invoked Obelisk while Dueling Bakura! Nothing can stop me!
Magic Cards
After analyzing a lot of curves and wipe tools 🛠 these were the ones that really fit in there. (Actually most of magic cards here are wipes 😅). The rest are the most important creatures.
- Wipe-Tools! (Creature Damage)
Versatile Conjuration + Illuminate + Mind Jolt
This is what really makes me happy and improved my experience in the game.. these are REALLY cheap wipe spells! I strongly recommend guys to use every time it’s
form of damage...
- Wipe-Tools! (Free Use Damage)
Wyrmbreath
This is one of the two cards that surprised me the most hahah! Very op tweak, try to use face!
Epiphany
This one I though it was troll, but it is an end gamer indeed! Try also to keep it for finallyzing.
- Magic Creatures
Runewriter
Good card, and very good at level 7 for insta-cast time (surprising)
Third Eye Seer
Actually, you’re able to (kind of) affect your future! By deciding whether you want to draw that next card or to exchange it for another random one and put the one you saw I the bottom of the deck.. I feel it’s sooo good for momentum.
Neutral Cards
- Creatures
Alright guys, so for this to fit, I’ll enumerate those I think are the best ok? Maybe later I’ll come up with a gameplay and a fewer more explicative gameplay of my experience in our beloved GU.
Vanguard Axewoman
OMG why I like her so much? Because she is OP and saved me a lotta times haha! Versatile, damage wipe, you know how it goes.. :)
Wild Hog
The only certain thing is that he’ll hit hahaha! So I though, well, he’s cheap and will wipe or damage on-the-go. Nice!
Skeleton Heavy
Ah man, in that time I wish I had one more of these, it for sure, he is the best one for me in all my decks. My man Skelly.
Hunt Warden / Dune Cavalry
Solid pick for showing da opp who runs this shid’. Look at that health, yet with good damage. Can standup for itself.
Wetlands Ogre
Pimped up version of those two bros up there, stays in the field, and is a threat too!
Burnished Bull
This is where I first but this dude to test. I could see a very clear gap between 6mana creatures and 7 mana creatures because of this. Simple: free hit points.
Juggernewt
It already helped me a lot, this man can clear and put board pressure. Can be a key factor of changing the game
Ladon, Uclid Dragon
At that time I was really into this Legendary card man, but nowadays I think it could be fitted by a Helian Elite. I think is very strong.
Conclusion
Yes guys this was the deck that I primarily made to play on my magic adventures.. I spend a lot of time looking for curves and archetypes, and this is what I came up with.
Feel free to use that to face the biggest foes of yours! By the time I created this deck, I wasn’t used to magic, it had about 75%~80% winrate at that time! And about 50 matches or something, by that time!
I guess I’ll be playing it to raise it more hehe :). Who knows if this is the deck that I’ll make it to 90% WR in my ride? Hahaha also, how have you guys been doing on your grind?
Thanks For Your Time Guys 🙏, it’s been a pleasure being here with you.

You went really deep on your thoughts about this magic deck. I will copy your deck and play a few matches for fun. I like trying out other decks to learn more about the idea behind it. It's always good to get another view to things.

Oh my man, really happy you could see how deep I got haha! 😁
This deck actually teached me how to play magic deck.. and how to put pressure via Spells not only creatures. And how to calculate face damage/ creature damage (for gatherring Favour)...
I'm sure you'll like it, as I did a lot! Maybe play it on the week instead of weekends? Much love man o/
