WOO Christmas story

Hello everyone, last time I wrote a fictional story. This time, I'll write about last weekend when I had a Christmas party with a part of the family I don't see often and as we don't see eachother that often, we often celebrate the holidays already sooner than everyone else because we just don't have time to meet everyone on Christmas / New Year's eve. Anyway, we always go to the same restaurant of which we hire a room just for our family but where we can still eat the good food of our favorite restaurant. This way we can laugh and make fun without disturbing the other guests.

Besides the dinner, we are always doing a secret santa as well. This year, I had to foresee a present for Tim, my little nephew, although he isn't that little anymore as he's already fourteen. Tim is like most of the teenagers of his age kind of addicted to videogames. But as I don't really know what he likes the most or what he would like to receive exactly, I went for something totally different. I bought a drone online which he could use to fly around and it even has a camera. Before you think, wow, that's an expensive present, you're wrong. You can already buy a drone with a camera for a couple of bucks nowadays. To be honest, I didn't know it neither, just discovered it when I was looking around on my hunt for a nice present.

As if the drone wouldn't be awesome enough, I thought let's give him a small extra as well. I started talking about WOO to my nephew and while doing so, I thought to give him some cards so he could play the game. But as he's totally new to NFT's and blockchain etc., it would probably be better to first let him learn and understand everything. So we made the deal that if he started to read about crypto, understand some basics and can explain those to me, than I'll give him some cards to try out WOO. He accepted the challenge so we'll see if he's able to understand it before the end of the year. If not, I'll ofcourse give him more time and help him out. BUT I think it's always better when you learn something yourself, so let's see!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The public beta of the game launched on December the 13th. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. In the near future you'll be able to earn $WOO, just by playing the game, a real #play2earn game!
