Hi, I'll try to give you a very simple summary here, eliminating all the variables introduced by the various abilities. There are three types of cards. Melee cards can only strike from the first position, magic cards can strike from any position, and ranged cards can only strike if they're not in the first position. The first card you choose doesn't enter battle, but it's the card that will summon the cards belonging to the summoning card's element.

Alright so out of of the 3 cards, only two enters battle, am I right?
Yes, exactly! One card will summon a certain set of cards, the other two will be the cards that will actually fight.
Meaning you need to buy good quality cards for that. I will try that out. Thanks!
