Ha! Not a brand name.
Many proof of work have moved over time from being mined with CPU's/GPU's to being mined with ASIC. Application-Specific Integrated Circuits.
These are designed specifically for single task and are therefore much better at it. They are basically the reason why no one uses CPU's/GPU's to mine BTC (and other crypto's) any more. They are a must have for certain types of mining.
