SPS Validator v1.2.0 Release Announcement

v1.2.0 (block-hash-breaking)

This is a block-hash-breaking release, which means you have to update before the transition block number to continue to receive rewards.

Please see the update guide in the README for updating your node to the different types of releases.

The transition block is 100,342,741, which should be around 930am ET on 2025-10-16.

Updates

  • Validator transition cleanup proposal items
    • Lite accounts will have all of their SPSP unstaked, and the remaining SPS transferred to a splinterlands account
    • The $TOKEN_STAKING account will be balanced by transferring any missing SPS from a splinterlands account
  • Can now input the snapshot url using easy install script
  • SPS Supply endpoint updated to reflect the new bridges
  • Updated and pinned npm deps
