A brand-new test of endurance has arrived in Splinterlands—Survival Mode is here! Are you ready to put your cards on the line and see how long you can last? This high-stakes mode introduces a unique challenge where defeated cards enter a cooldown period, making them unusable elsewhere until the season ends or the cooldown expires.

Challenge Theme: Survival Mode Launch & Leaderboard Updates

❤️‍🔥Survival Mode is Live! ❤️‍🔥
🔹 Test your resolve by putting your cards on the line in this new mode! If a card is defeated in survival mode, it will be unusable elsewhere until the cooldown period is over OR the season ends.
🔹Only SPS can be earned in Survival Mode! Glint and League Advancement chests are currently only available in Modern and Wild formats.
🔹Please note we used the RSHARE average from Modern as the starting place for Survival. The SPS pool for survival is slowly filling and should equalize after a little bit of time. Until the pool has refilled a little more you may find that you won't get any SPS until around 200 rating, as the pool fills you should start getting SPS lower down in rating. The rewards for survival should equalize throughout the first season.
🔹Want to avoid accidentally using your Modern or Wild deck in Survival mode? Create a custom set, and unflag it for survival mode!

Challenge Rules

New Rule: Community Commitment & Reward Eligibility

To ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Hive ecosystem, we will evaluate the long-term commitment of participants when selecting winners. Specifically, we will review past rewards earned and currently held Hive Power (HP) as part of the selection process.

Participants who demonstrate an investor mindset by holding and growing their HP are more likely to be rewarded. Those who consistently extract all rewards without reinvesting into the ecosystem may not be eligible for prizes.

This rule aims to celebrate and encourage commitment to the Hive blockchain, fostering a strong and engaged community.

Submission Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 3 days before the post pays out. This is to ensure that our curators have enough time to review all the entries before the next challenge is posted. Your punctuality is appreciated!

I'm so excited about the new Survival Mode!It sounds like a really fun and challenging way to play Splinterlands.I'm definitely going to give it a try.I'm also glad to see the leaderboards are back,and that Glint rewards are being offered for the top players.That's a great incentive to climb the ranks!I'm curious to see how the SPS rewards for Survival Mode will work out.It's good to know that the pool is slowly filling and should equalize over time.I'm going to start working on my Survival Mode strategy now.I'm thinking of creating a custom set specifically for this mode,so I don't accidentally use my Modern or Wild deck.Thanks for sharing all the details about the new mode and the leaderboard updates!I can't wait to see how it all plays out. #SplinterlandsSurvival

The Splinterlands Community Challenge: PVM Will Not Survive The Survival Mode

This is the place where your diamond hands meet battlefield endurance! Play smart, or watch your lineup vanish faster than a low-cap altcoin in a bear market. I have 27 cards depleated and PVM can't survive the survival mode!

Maybe I will give it another try when the season is close to it's end! Here's my conclusion... Survival Mode is like staking, but with blood, sweat, and cards!
