🎉 Introducing the Arena Fanatic – Influencer Card! Plus Twitch Drops!

image.png

Everyone knows an Arena Fanatic. Loud, loyal, and completely unhinged in their devotion. They don’t just watch the games — they become part of them. Their homes are shrines to the sport, their voices are weapons, and their superstitions are as colorful as their face paint.

In the stands, they are thunder itself: drinking, cursing, chanting, roaring until even the battle mages feel their presence from the sands below. To them, silence is treason, and victory is religion. Some call it madness. Others call it devotion. Arena fanatics just call it game day.

And now, you can channel that same unrelenting energy with Splinterlands’ newest release:

🧙 Arena Fanatic – Influencer Card

🎤 Calling All Content Creators & Streamers!

Splinterlands top Twitch streamers will be eligible for various rewards from the Splinterlands team. For new streamers, this is your chance to build your influence via Splinterlands and for tenured content creators, the Splinterlands airdrop campaigns will allow you to grow and expand your viewer counts and watch hours.

Streamers should DM (direct message) Tales from the Crypt Mancer on Discord (Discord ID: synist3r ) in order to get their Twitch channel whitelisted for drops as well as to get their channel’s allocations of the Arena Fanatic card to distribute to their audience. It is recommended that streamers initially give away 2 BCX of the Arena Fanatic to their audience for every 1 hour that they stream. This guideline may be adjusted by the team as hours streamed and number of viewers change over time. Streamers on other platforms such as YouTube are also eligible for this community perk.

⚡ Final Word

The Arena Fanatic isn’t just a card — it’s a tribute. A tribute to the fans who roar until they’re hoarse, and to the creators whose voices carry Splinterlands across the globe.
When this card hits the field, your opponents won’t just hear the crowd… they’ll feel it.

I follow this game pretty much 24/7 and for the first time ever I literally cannot keep up with all the cool developments you guys are rolling out.

What a nice compliment Matt! I'm thrilled that you notice and can't wait to find out how we can integrate your group into this distribution method too!!!

@bobaphet uploads to 3speak and youtube, but we haven't explored twitch or done anything live. I drove over to @holoz0r and did a guest spot on his twitch stream once, that was fun.

Yeh I gave OBS a go back during the spltv days when it was really popular, but i just couldn't get the hang of it. Always had sound issues.

Really excited about this functionality here and what it can do!

Sorry to be a debby downer, but what was the decision behind making the card so weak? At 5 mana, I cannot see many people wanting it, max or otherwise, which by proxy, means most people aren't very likely to participate. It also requires 15 hours a month, for 115 months to max.

That'd mean less numbers and social boosts than it could, wouldn't it?

is there any possibility of buffs to put this card at least moderately in line with the average card? (or allowing it to be used level capped at 4 in Frontier? where it might actually see some use)

As it is, it's only weaker than 1 or 2 cards in all of Modern: Khazi Firemage, and Chaos Lackey - even Chaos Lackey probably has the edge due to lower mana, high speed, and true strike.

Sorry to not be such a fan of the card (heh), but I think it's worth mentioning that a throwaway card is not going to do much compared to a more usable card in terms of gathering interest or creating the numbers we would want to see.

Definitely don't want it to be an OP or even strong card, but I think it's just lacking currently for a promotional card designed to bring people in to the game, and to engage with our streamers

Amplify can be incredible in the right ruleset. He has enough armour and health to survive a while even if the opponent is reflecting ranged attacks back at him. If you're playing in a ranged only ruleset, and have a big reflecty boi up front, he can sit nicely in second place.

I agree, I feel like we have a LOT of potential with this Twitch Drop system to help promote our game and while the card shouldn't be meta defining, it should be an actual useful card. We are dropping the ball here if this is the final stats, abilities, etc. I honestly think we should brainstorm some tweaks even if it delays the release by a week. I dont mean to be so blunt, but the time is too short to try and sugar coat things.

2 ranged at level 4, close range, 4 mana, there are a lot of things to consider (not all of those at once). Heck even Recharge could make it an interesting card for the new modern and kind of add to the story of it's purpose. Let it take a round to gain excitement and then attack, then needs a moment to rest before giving it's full effort again.

Make it a card people will consider to use in their deck and we can really profit from the marketing and viewer draw to Twitch. We have a long road ahead of us to earn a leveled version, let's make the effort more worthwhile.

Warning : the TWITCH registration seems to work, but it does not go to splinertlands, or to the TEST server, thus it does not register your account in your real splinterlands account

Thanks I had already gotten in contact with Blaze. And yes I believe that all I have to do is live stream using Splinterlands as the category.

Love it! Reminds me when Splinterlands TV launched and it was really fun to watch people battling online and showing our game to the world. I like that the reward for watching is Glint to prevent people from farming our tradeable tokens. I like that a card is part of the reward program, although it would take 1,725 hours of watching before the card would be at max level, but again it makes sense to be worth that many hours to prevent farming. Cannot wait to see YouTube added to the list of channels we get to watch. I am thinking about starting my own streaming channel, obviously beaver related theme.

Am I blind? The article states this:

🎥 Watch 3 hours → 1,000 Glint
🎥 Watch 6 hours → 1,000 Glint
🎥 Watch 9 hours → 1,000 Glint
🎥 Watch 12 hours → 1,000 Glint
🎥 Watch 15 hours → Arena Fanatic Influencer Card (1 CC)

But Twitch shows these:
Screenshot 2025-08-26 153719.png

So they changed the rewards right?
