When a small basket was found abandoned on the steps of the arena in Ulundin, it was brought to Jared Scar. Inside was a young scavo, quiet and watchful beneath a bundle of threadbare blankets. Most assumed the arena master would discard the scavo or sell it off to the sewer guilds. Instead, Jared raised him.
Years later, rumors swirl of a silent assassin who stalks the shadows with cold precision. They say he serves the Scarred Hand, and his name is Echelon.
Unlike most scavo, mole-like burrowers with poor eyesight, Echelon possesses unnervingly sharp vision, particularly in darkness. By day, he wears protective goggles to guard against the light, but at night he moves with surgical accuracy. His high-collared coat, trimmed in gold and tailored for fluid movement, isn’t for show. But it still leaves an impression.
The Scarred Hand is no kingdom. It is a mercenary collective loyal to Jared Scar, who personally selects and trains each operative. Many would have dismissed Echelon as vermin, but Jared saw potential. Echelon wasn’t just chosen. He was shaped. Trained, equipped, and unleashed, he is not simply a killer. He is proof that Jared Scar never wastes what others throw away.

The idea is to create a pose that looks like it came from a high-tech world. Echelon had to look fun, strong, and full of energy—like he just jumped into battle.
