Splinterlands Fan Art - Barashkukor
Splinterlands Fan Art - Barashkukor
Lore from Splinterlands:
The archfiend Barashkukor comes from an infernal realm that was subsumed and obliterated by the dark god Uul during the insidious conquests of the legions of Chaos. His formidable power quickly earned the respect and favor of Silus of the Rift, and Barashkukor was soon made a high legionnaire and charged with command of a legion of demons ten-thousand strong.
After the conquest of the Belurocian Empire, Barashkukor laid claim to its throne. He governs with meticulous cruelty and a reign of terror that makes even the Chaos Empire's most despotic of despots seem egalitarian by comparison.
In spite of this, acts of subversion are escalating in both frequency and severity, especially among the Dark Eternals; the threat of death isn't the best deterrent for a splinter who wants nothing better than to usher in the Dark Eternity and the end of all life in the Splinterlands..
Hello everyone! I’m happy to welcome you back to my Splinterlands fan art post. It’s been a while since my last one because I’ve been caught up with things in the real world—work, errands, and just life in general. But now, I finally found some time to take a break and do something I really enjoy: drawing fan art!
For this post, I decided to create an artwork of a Legendary Death Unit from the Rebellion Card Set. This character really stood out to me, and I thought it would be a fun and exciting challenge to bring it to life through my art. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Here is the original image from Splinterlands.

The concept of this fan art is to create a cute GIF version of Barashkukor using pastel colors.
I used the following tools and apps in creating this fan art of Animated Corpse.
- Android Tablet
- Sketchbook for Mobile
- Capcut
- EZ GIF
Step-by-step creation process:
Main Object:
- Line art of the main object, which is Barashkukor
- Base color in reference to the original image. I used pastel colors here.
- Applied shadows using multiply layer. I also duplicated the layer and made the other one slightly blurred.
- Added soft glow in another layer.
Background:
- Apply a combination of purple and pink for the wavy pattern.
- Added a green fire on top of its right hand.
- Added pink bubbles, depicting that it is under the water.
Creating the GIF:
- Created 4 frames for the animation.
- Use Capcut to create a short video using these 4 frames.
- Use EZ GIF to create the GIF version.
Below are the frame by frame of the abovementioned information.

And here is the final output of this fan art.
The part I enjoyed the most while creating this fan art was bringing this creepy-cute character to life with all the little details—especially the tentacles and that glowing green flame! Drawing the tentacles in a way that made them look playful yet powerful was a fun challenge. I also had a lot of fun adding the armor details (dot, dot, dotsssss) and the gem on its chest to give it a magical feel. I think the pastel colors and the character’s chibi style made the whole process really relaxing.
Ovvrall, making this fan art was a fun and relaxing break from my busy schedule. It reminded me why I love drawing so much, especially when it's for something I enjoy like Splinterlands. Thank you for checking it out, and I hope it brought a smile to your face!
