My Epic Battle using Arachne Weaver
Hello everyone! Are you ready for another "Splinterlands Epic Battle"? 🌟✨ For this post, I would like to share my most recent victory using Arachne Weaver. This card is one of my favorite cards in Death Splinter because of its usefulness in healing all allied units. Currently, I have only a level 3 of this card but its Corrupted Healing and Scavenger skills are very useful in certain situations like the one that I will be sharing today. The skill Corrrupted Healing has this description - "Each round, restore 70% of max health to other allied units, rounded down. Each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1."
For this battle, here are the specific rulesets and a mana cap to consider:
Mana Cap: 40
Active Elements: Earth, Death and Dragon
Active Rulesets:
- Odd Ones Out: You can only summon units with odd mana costs.
- Stampede: Trample (after using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position) can trigger multiple times if the trampled unit is destroyed.
- Noxious Fumes: All units start the battle poisoned and lose 2 health at the beginning of each round, starting in round 2.
I used Helios Matriarch as my summoner for me to summon one Gladius Card. In this match, I summon the Gladius Card Liza Fox together with Possessed Puppet as my Pos 1 unit, Dragon Egg Forager with its Scavenge skill, Meriput Slinger for its Slow skill, Venari Marksrat for its Martyr Skill and of course, Arachne Weaver with its Corrrupted Healing ability.
The opponent used Lily Shieldpay with its Triage ability that will heal backline monsters. Most of the opponent line up consists of Death units also.
By the start of Round 2, enemy Pelacor Deceiver was defeated already and by now, the poison from Noxious Fumes ruleset will kick in.
By the start of Round 3, almost all my units are still intact because of Arachne Weaver's Corrupted Healing. Also Dragon Egg Forager and Arachne Weaver were thriving because of their Scavenge ability.
With the additional damage from Noxious Fumes and Lily Shiledpaw's Triage is not being enough to heal all the enemy units, my line up emerged victorious.
