This card is one of my favorites, mainly because of its design, which resembles a medieval knight armed with a divine sword engulfed in flames and a sacred book, ready to calm and purify souls.

For my drawing, I was inspired by several things: the original card, the painting by Gabriel Cornelius, and one of the covers of the game Final Fantasy VIII, where Leon appears with his sword in front. I initially planned to do something more cartoon-style with line art, which is what I usually do and feel most comfortable with. But I decided to take on the challenge of making a drawing without line art to see how it would turn out. In part, I really liked it simply because I overcame the challenge.

Tenía pensado hacer algo más estilo cartoon con line art, que es lo que siempre hago y como más cómodo me siento. Pero quise aceptar el reto de hacer un dibujo sin line art a ver qué tal quedaba. En parte, me gustó mucho por el simple hecho de superar el reto.
