Thus, the challenge was to capture in the drawing the imposing strength of the dragon while also conveying its touch of ancestral magic. That’s why I decided to focus on a style that would simulate, through lines and a color palette, the anime of the late '80s and early '90s. I started with a sketch and then gradually added the details that characterize this creature. Once all the line art was completed, I played with the line values and colors, finishing with a few flat colors and a layer of noise to simulate the anime effect.
