Splinterlands EoS #111 Rewards and Deck Progression
- EoS #111 Value / Cards ($1.79) --> 61 Silver Chest.
- Season SPS rewards (99 SPS).
- Progress on Silver Level Summoner (via Rewards Cards)
- My deck/cards are getting stronger.
- SPS Staking Change and how it impacts me.
EoS #111 Value / Cards ($1.79) --> 61 Silver Chest.
I got 61 EoS Silver Chest for season #111. These are primarily common-level cards. I earned 31 soul-bound cards. There was one GF common and one legendary (Musa Saline). This was nearly the same result as LAST season's 38 GOLD EoS chest.
For the entire season of #111, the value was about $4.95! On the last day, I pushed into the Gold league, so for EoS #112, I will be earning GOLD chest. I expect to reach 20-30 EoS Gold chests for #112. The plan is to hope the fewer chest have better rewards to make it worth the trade-off.
Season SPS rewards (99 SPS).
I did not enter a fray for a guild brawl. I only got 10 SPS from my guild brawl this season. Therefore most of the 99 came from RANKED battles in the Silver league using my Bronze deck. This was down from the last 3-4 seasons when I averaged over 110 SPS per season.
There are 24 seasons a year, so I can earn at least 2K SPS in the next year of playing. However, as your deck grows more substantial, I expected a slightly better win rate which should impact my SPS earnings.
Progress on Silver Level Summoner (via Rewards Cards)
Today, I have three SB summoners that are breaking into Silver League. A bronze deck can get stronger without adding more cash to the game. I rely on the SB summoners to continue to get leveled up, and other SB monster cards will follow. The 6 mana cost will limit the ruleset that I would use them, but at some point, the 2 extra mana will not matter if my cards are much stronger using the GLADIUS cards and silver level cards.
My deck/cards are getting stronger.
Trading card games like Magic The Gathering (MTG) and Pokemon are based on collecting cards. The more cards you own, the more options you have when playing the game. #Splinterlands has built-in mechanics with the card leveling system that makes the card more powerful as you collect more of them!
My main focus will be:
- getting missing bronze-level CL/RW cards.
- leveling up Soul-Bound Summoners to Silver Level.
- leveling up Soul-Bound Monster to Silver Level.
Adding missing cards helps with giving you more options in different rule sets. More options generally mean a better chance of winning.
Leveling up SB summoners to silver level will help when I have more cards in the silver level. Today, I only have a few cards in the silver level. My deck is mostly a bronze-level deck. In six month time, I might have some more SB silver-level cards and that will help in some battles.
SPS Staking Change and How it impacts me.
Since the SPS Staking was announced, I have had enough SPS for the bronze league. I play in silver, which will impact me when the SPS staking goes live. However, I have a few months before that happens, and I think at this point, I might change how I end the season. Before this announcement, I end one season in Silver, the next in Gold and then back into Silver. I did this to get more Silver chests in one season and fewer GOLD chests in the next. Because I only have 1400 SPS, I won't have enough SPS for Silver 1 or GOLD 3. Pushing into those GOLD 3 when SPS staking goes live does not make sense. I might need to adjust and play in the proper league for my account based on my CARDS and my SPS staking. I think that means playing in Silver 3 and Silver 2.
Splinterlands is a #play2earn NFT game that can be fun and profitable. All it takes is some time and a few assets to play. Your number of assets should grow over years of collecting cards and rewards from the chest. I think value will come from owning as many assets as possible.
