I track my results each season of #Splinterlands to see how my assets are growing (in terms of card power and value). In this post, I will discuss my EoS rewards and end with what I plan to do with the new SET of released cards.
EoS 121 Earnings - 36 Gold Chest (1 EPIC / 0 Legendary).
Here is my data right before the end of the season:
- 36 Gold Chest
- 5-7 daily Silver Chest.
- Move up to GOLD at the end of the Season (for EoS Reward).
- Got 1 Epic, 0 Legendary, 1 GF Cards (1 Epic).
Here are the EoS Rewards:
I got one GF Epic card (for the EoS Rewards). It has been a while since I got a legendary.
My SPS at the End/Start of the Season.
Stake SPS tracker - Start of Season#122: 3689
This is a new item I will be tracking for my reader. This will show how much I gain each season.
Season 122: 3689 Stated SPS (51 USD Value) on Oct 30, 2023.
Season 121: 3512 Stated SPS (49 USD Value) on Oct 15, 2023.
Season 120: 3204 Stated SPS (47 USD Value) on Sept 30, 2023.
Season 119: 3035 Stated SPS (50 USD Value) on Sept 15, 2023.
Stay in Silver until the last day of the season!
I play in silver leagues because I only have a bronze deck. I am still missing many of Chaos Legion's EPIC and LEGENDARIES cards. My goal is to buy those missing cards first. This will take another year as many cards cost between $1-$15 each (and I only add one or two cards per month).
For season #121, I did not purchase anything. I wanted to wait and see what I needed next. I'm missing so many 1bcx cards from "RW/CL," it might make more sense for me to get 1 of each card first. Playing in Silver League, I would rather have more cards to handle every ruleset before I level up key cards.
Rebellion is another reason why I need to stay in the lower leagues. Adding new cards takes lots of new capital to buy these new assets. This cycle repeats itself each year.
My Deck (Bronze): $369 and 61K CP in Tradeable Asset.
Here is my current deck and Tradable Asset's CP power. I have about 20K in Soul Bound asset power. The

Tracking this data show how fast thing can go up or down. I was in the ~$200 range for season 113 (see previous post).
My deck value peaked at around $580 before heading back down.
Summoner Levels (Soul Bound)
This is what my SB summoners look like at the end of the season. Nothing has changed from last season. I'm still waiting on the second level 4 summoner.
Before:
After:
Over the next few months, some of them will be level 4 cards. Collecting a few cards each season can help with your deck progression. In Season 121, 2 SOUL BOUND Summoners moved up to LEVEL 4!
I aim to stay in Silver because as new SET gets released, I must start the process again. That means I must focus on a strategy I can afford: staying in the lower leagues.
I will use the "Sell RF" and buy the "GF" summoners regarding rebellion cards. However, I doubt I can do that with the expensive LEGENDARY cards.
Rebellion plans.
Here is the big question when it comes to #Rebellion! What do I plan to do with this new 5th core edition set release?
PreSale?
Nope. I will sit this one out. I don't know if I can come up with enough DEC to get ten packs for the one FREE promo card.Regular Sale?
At this point, I might use my DEC to purchase single cards on the open market. I might only focus on getting the new summoners only.New Rebellion Cards vs CL/RW cards
Here is a problem for players who don't have a MAX deck for their league. You need to decide which card you want to level up next constantly. Many of my cards are still Bronze or Silver-level cards. It means I will get more "VALUE" if I top off my CL/RW cards for Silver League than getting one BCX of a new Rebellion card.Rebellion Reward cards
It is too early to suggest what abilities are on the rebellion reward cards. If the new cards have some of the new skills, then I can play the game to get the new rewards cards. This can be the cheapest way to stay current with the "meta", without spending too much money. Yes, you will need the new summoners, but I would rather buy those in the market than randomly getting cards from a pack opening.Profit or Loss so far
I don't recall how much money I spent on the game, but getting in after the Chaos Legion Presale did not help (from a timing POV). The most significant impact was all the cards I won from watching SPL-TV. If I had to guess, I would be sitting on a loss on the assets I purchased. Because of that, It's hard to want to add another $100-200 dollars.Staked SPS?
Another issue is I only have 3600 Stake SPS. That is not enough SPS for the Silver or Gold Leagues. So, while I agreed with the concept of having Stake SPS, that is one reason why small account players need to stay in the lower leagues (like in Bronze or Silver). Adding new cards doesn't add much value if you lack the Stake SPS to earn the reward share needed to get the chest. It might take me two years to get to the point where my STAKE SPS is high enough to add new cards to my deck. I'm not the only player lacking the SPS needed to get the 10x multiplier.Rebellion asset vs Other Asset
At this point, adding rebellion assets is not the most important thing to my gameplay. I would rather have the missing SPS first. Then, I need to plug in the holes in my deck. Then, I need to level up the key cards that help me win more matches. Once I have done all that, adding a new core card might be done. The only exception is when a card is "broken" or "OP" and is a must-have. The biggest challenge is still a "cost" vs. "value" problem. I don't have a Dr. Blight because I would rather have cards to play with more rules set than fewer rules set.GF Rebellion's common card
I have been focusing on building a GF Bronze deck. That means I only ever need 1 GF card. Opening packs and building a GF deck does not make sense. Because of this, I would instead buy GF Rebellion standard cards via the open market. I might consider purchasing the GF Rare if they are under $0.50. The other cards might be out of my price range, and I have to skip those.

Splinterlands is a #play2earn NFT game that can be fun and profitable. All it takes is some time and a few assets to play. Your number of assets should grow over years of collecting cards and rewards from the chest. I think value will come from owning as many assets as possible.
