Silverleaf Ranger doesn’t look too flashy at first but ends up being one of the more flexible rare units for Conclave Arcana. With Double Strike as her main ability, she dishes out consistent high damage for the team. It is an important ability to take out the enemy quick before she gets tired and Weary.

Stats

Silverleaf Ranger is a backline damage dealer that doubles as a support thanks to her Echo ability. She deals high ranged damage with Double Strike. With Echo, she can help support her whole team doubling the times she can use her and other's Heal and Repair abilities. Silverleaf Ranger is a dark horse this set and I see her being picked up a lot once you can rent higher Archons and units in the future for a lower price.

	Weary	Debilitation: Each round, Weary Units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%.
		is a match because True Strike makes sure her attacks always land which shortens the game a lot. Weary is bad on long fights so each attack landing gets you closer to victory earlier than a drawn out fight.
		is a counter because Return Fire punishes every ranged hit by returning a portion of the damage back to the attacker. Dince Silverleaf Ranger attacks has range attack and attacks twice per round due to Double Strike, she takes double the punishment each round. This can lead to her getting knocked out fast reducing your team's damage.

	Double Strike	This unit attacks twice each round.
		is a match because Blast is a perfect match because Silverleaf Ranger gets to apply Blast damage twice per round, once for each attack. This makes her a strong backline threat that can hit multiple units each round increasing your team's damage potential.
		is a counter because Headwinds lowers her range attack and since Silverleaf Ranger attacks twice, the Headwinds affects both attacks. This makes her total damage much weaker than it should be.

	Heal	Restores a third of the max health to this Unit's health each round.
		is a match because Equalizer rule increases her max health and Heal lets her recover more each turn based on that new max health. This makes her harder to kill especially if placed outside of direct danger and more towards the back. The combo is also good to serve as a temporary blocker against Sneak attacks and a strong unit if fight ever gets to Fatigue rounds.
		is a counter because Affliction turns off her Heal completely, which ruins one of her main survival tools. Once that kicks in, she becomes much easier to Snipe or take out through Opportunity attacks.

	Echo	Active abilities (Repair and all healing and cleansing abilities) trigger twice per round.
		is a match because If Heal is not allowed by rules or Affliction, pairing her with Repair still gives her a support function through Echo. She helps armor-focused teams stay alive even without healing.
		is a counter because Healed Out removes all healing from the battle which weakens Echo by shutting down her and other's Heal. Without Heal, Tank Heal, Triage and other abilities that involves healing, Echo's efficiency goes down a lot.

Good Rules to Consider

	Target Practice	All units with magic and ranged attacks have Snipe (magic and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position).
		She’s ranged which works with Snipe. In times of trouble, her Heal will be a good ability to help her survive longer in this rule.
	Explosive Weaponry	All units have Blast (deals an additional 50% damage to units adjacent to the target, rounded up).
		Double Strike + Blast means she can do damage to multiple units twice per round. It's even better if there's another rule that make her change her target instead of just the front like Equal Opportunity rule or Aimless rule.
	Unprotected	Units do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.
		This removes all armor from the battle allowing Silverleaf Ranger to kill the enemy units faster.

Bad Rules to Think Twice

	Broken Arrows	You cannot summon units with ranged attacks.. Units with 2 types of attack (which include ranged) cannot be used.
		Silverleaf Ranger is bad because you cannot use her. All ranged work here since she's ranged.
	Armored Up	All Units have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.
		Range attacks does not pass through armor so her first attack will always be blocked by the armor gained from Armored Up rule.
	Healed Out	All healing abilities are removed from Units and Summoners.
		Silverleaf Ranger's Heal is not only gone but so is Echo. This rule affects half of her skills which reduces her usefulness.

In this battle, we have Fire & Regret that gives everyone Return Fire. This is normally bad for Silverleaf Ranger but my goal is to end the battle quick. I have a slight level advantage against my enemy which increased my chance of winning but more importantly, my selected units are mostly from the Elf Bloodline giving them Execute ability from Kaylia Silverleaf's Bloodline Dominion. This ability allows my unit to do an extra attack when the enemy has 2 or less health.

On Other News

This was a while back which I didn't post because it's almost release of Conclave Arcana and I was not sure if you can still use them in Modern Ranked Format. A few weeks ago, I was very happy that finally, after a year of playing this game and exchanging Glints to Merits, I finally got my very own Quora Towershead. I don't understand though why this one is harder to get because it's only epic and not legendary. Even so, I finally got one and I used her a lot in Modern Ranked Format when there's Are You Not Entertained rule.
