Little Slimey's Pick of the Week: Chaos Orc
With simple abilities like Piercing and Trample, Chaos Orc is a unit that can still be so powerful in the right circumstances. Chaos Orc excels at breaking down the enemy team's defenses, whether they have armor or none. He is a real simple minded creature that has no other reason for existing except the opposing team's destruction. With his trusty sword, there's only one thing he does in the battlefield, exert chaos and win you games.
Lore
Orc culture epitomizes the Chaos Empire's core values of might, ruthless efficiency, and discipline, and they are well matched for the militaristic and pragmatic ethos of the empire. They serve as conscripts, legionnaires, and frontline enforcers, as well as in positions of leadership—captains, sergeants, and even commanders—in the empire's legions. Their formidable strength and combat prowess make orcs befitted the task of upholding order in the provinces that comprise the empire's Kalamenty System, where they patrol trade routes and provide muscle to maintain stability.
But more and more often, growing resentment among the populations is boiling over into acts of defiance bordering on treason, and it's the latter that seems to be the focus as of late.

Stats
Chaos Orc has good stats but is not good to use in the 1st position. He has good amount of health and armor but he doesn't have any abilities that could reduce or negate the damage he gets.
I really like the Trample ability. You can get a second attack when you kill an enemy unit. This makes use of his high attack which means you have a higher chance of killing an enemy for that Trample ability.
Abilities
Icon | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
![]() | Piercing | Damage in excess of the target's armor is applied to health. |
![]() | Trample | After using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position. |
Good Rules to Consider
Icon | Name | Reason |
---|---|---|
![]() | Stampede | Trample is most effective in Stampede rule set where you can use it repetitively as long as you kill the enemies per attack. It's a great way to deal a lot of damage to the enemy team especially if the enemies' health is low enough for quick kills. |
![]() | Armored Up | Piercing is still effective even with extra armor. You'll still manage to chip away at both armor and health making it a good counter in this rule set. |
![]() | Equal Opportunity | Trample will be more effective because his targets will be those with lowest health. This allows for easy chain kills since the target of Chaos Orc will always be the lowest health on the enemy team. |
Bad Rules to Think Twice
Icon | Name | Reason |
---|---|---|
![]() | Unprotected | Piercing loses its purpose because there's no Armor to go through. This rule set makes Chaos Orc's best ability unusable. While he's still good in this rule set, I think it's still better if you and your enemies have armor since Chaos Orc's attack can pass through it either way. |
![]() | Equalizer | Equalizer is bad because it gives enemies extra health. Chaos Orc's high attack helps but it's still bad in the long run |
![]() | Reverse Speed | The high speed becomes a negative with melee attack in this rule set. Fast attackers miss more often which lowers overall potential. Every hit is important in this game and if you miss, that might cost you the entire game. |
