WOO - Opportunity Missed: My Take on WWE's SmackDown Drama and the Triple H Factor
Greetings to everyone and welcome back to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
This time last week, I watched WWE SmackDown and there was this instance with LA Knight that made me think. Well, LA Knight is one of the prominent names in WWE now. He has a thing going on with AJ Styles and it has been heating up for some time now. But the previous week, LA Knight went into heat mode and broke a TV after something AJ Styles said.
But you know what? I feel that WWE missed out on an opportunity to make it more exciting. There is this man called Triple H who is a legend in WWE. When LA Knight was destroying the TV, he could have walked by and gone like “Hey! What’s happening here?” That would have brought real tension to the whole thing.
Just imagine. On one hand we have this rising star called LA Night while on the other hand there is a seasoned veteran known as Triple H.
It would have been like those movies where at some point you expect that climactic moment between the hero and villain to occur. That’s what WWE might have given us with LA Night against Triple H.”
They didn’t try to fight back in the most basic way instead they let LA Knight break TV and carried on with their business as if nothing of that sort had happened.
It’s like an opportunity was lost there to take the story to the next level. This is disappointing because I am heavily interested in what’s going on between AJ Styles and LA Knight.
Talking about AJ Styles, he has been angry with LA Knight for some time now.
Ever since being involved in Men’s Elimination Chamber match and preventing him from winning it, there has been a rift between them. And at the moment, things are getting more heated up after LA Knight destroyed a television set following styles’ promo.
I can’t wait to see what will happen next. Therefore, seeing my curiosity about WWE having something big for LA knight and AJ styles before WrestleMania 40 will be answered soon enough.
Or will they settle their feud in the ring? Or could there be something even bigger coming out of it?
The Rock’s heel turn is another story entirely. I, for one, have been enjoying it. It’s good to see him do something a little different and be the bad guy once in awhile.
This gives his character a new dimension, so it would be interesting how WWE will go on with this.
In general, WWE is packed with action right now. There is never a dull moment from the tension between LA Knight and AJ Styles to The Rock turning into a heel.
However, I hope that they do not miss any more chances of making these narratives even more fascinating.
