WOO - Drew McIntyre Defeats AJ Styles To Qualify For Elimination Chamber
Hi there everyone, welcome to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
It's @skyehi and I'm back with some latest updates following Friday Night Smackdown event.
Well we now know since Triple H just made it official that Roman Reigns will face Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 40 instead of The Rock.
That means Seth Rollins has no opponent. Adam Pierce made an announcement after Triple H made his announcement. The winner of the upcoming Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View will go on to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.
There's going to be a series of matches to pick who qualifies.
Drew McIntyre was set to fight AJ Styles to pick who would qualify amongst the two.
When Drew McIntyre was about to wrestle AJ Styles in a match, LA Knight who is a wrestler went to sit with the guys that talk about the show on TV.
There, Drew McIntyre, an extremely strong wrestler, did a great move at the beginning of the match where he grabbed AJ styles while jumping and turned it into suplex. Despite the fact that AJ Styles was hurt, he refused to surrender easily.
Then, Drew McIntyre gave AJ Styles another twist-a-whirl backbreaker but he tried fighting back, which didn’t go well.
Afterwards, they got outside the ring and Drew McIntyre threw AJ Styles over a metal barrier into where they keep time for matches.
Despite hitting him with his hands many times, Drew McIntyre remained standing. Another move that Styles tried here is called styles clash while MacIntyre used his mightiness to stop it from happening.
Next up came White Noise off the top rope by Drew Mclntyre only for AJ styles to reverse it with a sit down power bomb almost picking up three.
Subsequently, Drew McIntyre also performed another move known as Future Shock DDT and then he got up despite the kicks from AJ Styles which had hurt him. McIntyre’s trademark Claymore Kick was dodged by Styles.
Then Styles twisted his leg so hard when he grasped it firmly with his hands. For saving himself from losing, McIntyre reached out for the ropes. After that, Drew threw AJ over the table where LA Knight was sitting and he fell.
Finally, AJ Styles attempted to pin down Drew McIntyre while messing up with it. This could not stop Drew McIntyre who stuck on and powerfully kicked AJ Styles using Claymore kick. He emerged victorious in that match and advanced to participate in another major event referred to as Elimination Chamber. He emerged a winner.
So we'll certainly see the Scottish warrior Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber. My prediction will remain Drew McIntyre winning the match unless CM Punk retains.
