Hello! Today I will be writing about my Imaginary Friend Beno Bunny for @snook's weekly Challenge! If you would like to write your own story about your imaginary friend, or read more stories like this, check out her post Create Your Imaginary Friend Challenge.
@snook has extended the deadline of the challenge until this Saturday, so you still have some time to enter!

Steampunk
Beno Bunny is a six foot tall bunny. I'm not sure exactly how tall he is because every time I see him his form changes. He tends to blend into his surroundings so he's tricky to spot. But I always know when he is near because he can't always hide his ears.
I've seen him in the Sims game that I play. This means other people have seen him as well. They call him a social bunny in the game, but I don't think he is social at all. He only comes around when there be-no people around.
Hence his name.
He is very social when I do see him though. He talks a lot actually. Sometime I have to tell him to be quiet so that I can get some sleep.
He likes to visit when the house is quiet at night!

Mystical
I met him when I was young and I was alone. My older brother was babysitting, and he had his friends over the house. I wasn't allowed to hang out with them and I was sent to my room.
I sat on top of my dresser and cried for my mom to come home. I watched as all the cars went by, praying the next one would slow down and turn into the driveway. But she didn't come home.
Cars would pass, and I would watch them speed by. The more I cried, the longer the time seemed to go. Soon enough I feel asleep waiting.
When I awoke, I looked again, and there was still no car in the driveway. The music and laughter from the living room, reminded me I was trapped in my room, and not welcome at the party.
"Why are you crying?" Beno asked.
I looked across the room, and there was the distorted, giant bunny.
"Don't cry." he said, "There's lots of fun things to do. I bet you can't draw a horse on the wall with this black marker!"
I instantly replied, "I bet I can!"

Festive
My brother got in trouble for not watching me better, and allowing me to draw on the walls. I never told my mom it was Beno who suggested I draw a horse.
I really don't think she would have believed me if I did. She only got to get out the house every once in a while to go bowling, and I didn't want to ruin it for her.
But I wasn't upset when I was sent to my room anymore. After a while I got used to it. I knew Beno would be there, and he would have some more fun things to do.
Beno got me into a lot of trouble as a child. I think I worried my mom when we would run off together to build secret forts in the woods.
But I was never afraid when I was with Beno... and he never acted like he wanted to be anywhere else.
Which was nice.

Over the years, Beno and I became close friends. As I got older I depended on him more often; as I was destined to spend more and more time alone.
If I didn't have any friends to talk to, Beno was there. If I didn't have anything fun to do, Beno was there. And when I spent my time as an adult playing in the garden, Beno was always there... talking a mile a minute.
The most annoying thing about him is he is always right... about everything! He loves to say, "I told you so!"
I'm learning to listen to him more often, and I apologize when I don't do things the way he says to do them. But he has some crazy ideas sometimes, and I don't always trust the outcome.
I mean seriously, how is anyone supposed to trust a 6-foot imaginary bunny, who frequently changes his shape and form?

So, now he wants to be an NFT. He wants to be famous, and he thinks that everyone should know his name.
@juliakponsford was playing with the wombo.art app during a ClownWorld show, and she made all these cool images with the program.
Beno's like, "Use that program to tell my story."
Little did I know, that this program will soon be able to make NFTs! So not only can I tell Beno's story, there's a way for me to make him immortal by creating a NFT about him!
I just hope he doesn't get so famous that he has to leave me. I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have him around.
Today I put a carrot outside my back door. That's where the bunnies hide. All the neighbors just think there's lot of bunnies running around the neighborhood.
But I know that it's Beno Bunny.
I've learned he can be everyone's friend, and be everywhere all the time.
He's a very complex bunny.

What a wonderful fantastic story!!!!!
