Featured artist: Alix Breda | Mina Magazine #4
I recently met the photographer and visual artist Alix Breda, who is one of the founders of Selo Turvo (a photographic book publishing company in Brazil), and I fell completely in love with her work. I feel so connected to Alix's eye that many of her photos could have been made by myself.
Analyzing her works from earlier years, I even find many coincidences of photographed subjects. She is like my photographic soul mate.
So when we started writing the fourth edition of Mina, whose theme revolves around dark photography, death and absences, I knew I had to show this series of dead animals taken unpretentiously by Alix.
I leave you below with the pages from Mina. All images are by Alix Breda. Be sure to take a closer look at her work.
