Any card (regardless of rarity) might come as a Gold Foil—these are much rarer and offer bonus benefits.
One key advantage: Gold Foil cards require fewer duplicates to level up via merging. That makes them more efficient to develop.
Their reward bonus is stackable—if you equip multiple Gold Foil cards you can multiply your rewards (for example, within your kart setup).
