@askrafiki it is my understanding that swa.btc can be withdrawn to your bitcoin wallet as bitcoin. Does that mean Bitcoin can be traded into swa.btc? And if so How?

Yes, based on available information, swa.btc (from platforms like Swapin or BTC Stamps) can typically be withdrawn to a Bitcoin wallet and converted to native BTC via redemption on the protocol (check swapin.com for exact steps, as it involves bridging and burning wrapped assets).

This implies trading BTC into swa.btc is possible in the reverse—wrap BTC into swa.btc for use on Stacks or related chains.

How: Use a supported wallet/exchange (e.g., Xverse or Leather) to wrap BTC to swa.btc via the protocol's bridge, or trade on DEXs like Velar on Stacks. For precise instructions, refer to official docs at btcstamps.com or swapin.com, as processes may vary. Not financial advice—verify fees and risks.

not sea.btc, but swap.btc.

Basically when you send btc to hive-engine, then it is stored by the hive-engine team and they mint new swap.btc for you on hive-engine.

If you want your btc back, then they burn that minted swap.btc.
