Why is River Nymph GREAT?
This is my reason why River Nymph is Great
Hi there! Today I will be sharing with you my thoughs and opinions on the rare, water element card, River Nymph! River Nymph is a great card to have specially on matchups where debuffs were expected to come like the noxious fumes. She could also be a really good attacker with her magic damage specially when paired up with other magic user and the summoner Alric Stormbringer. Leveling up this card also benefits you with greater support since she will receive Amplify (Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1) on level 4 and Swiftness (All friendly Monsters have increased Speed) on level 8. With her low mana requirement, she could fit easily on any team and unlike other support cards, you don't have to choose between supporting your team and attacking the enemy since she could do both! Reverse Speed
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

As soon as I saw the the Noxious Fumes ruleset, I immediately looked for a team that has a cleanse card in it. Luckly, water element is available. I want to use a high HP card so I could outlast my opponent. The only thing that troubles me now is the reverse speed ruleset.

Since the ruleset have noxious fumes, I will utilize Djinn Oshannus's huge HP to outlast my opponent. I am expecting my opponent to also use the water element that is why I partnered Oshannus with the summoner Bortus to negate all the magic damage that could be coming my way.

Removes all negative effects on the Monster in the first position on the friendly team

With her Cleanse ability, she will be the key to this match's victory!
⚜️ Round 1
I was not expecting my opponent to choose death on this ruleset but still I was in quite a disadvantage! My opponent has 2 high HP monster while I only have Djinn Oshannus. The health debuff is also quite impactful since my River Nymph will surely die in 1 turn.
⚜️ Round 2
I was in a huge disadvantage here thanks to all the debuff that my opponent gave to me. Also, River Nymph is about to fall this round thanks to the poison but she has done her job already and that is enough for me to comeback!
⚜️ Round 3
This does not look great! The enemy team is quite the force to be reckoned with.
⚜️ Round 4
I did it! Thanks to River Nymph, I was able to outlast my opponent! I won by slowly chipping away their health with poison.

In the end, I won thanks to the great support River Nymph offered to my team!
🏳️ Did your strategy work?
An oustanding yes! River Nymph really carried us to victory with that impressive cleanse of her. Without her ability, I would not be able to outlast my opponent and win the match. Let us also not forget Djinn Oshannus as he tanks all the incoming damage until the very end.
🏳️ What will you try differently next time?
Maybe I will use Deimonshark next time as my frontline rather than Djinn Oshannus since Deimonshark will be a lot less riskier and more versatile thanks to its great health and strong armor.

Yes, I like it very much. To be able to just cleanse your frontline and let the poison from the Noxious Fumes takes the rest of the enemy team is quite fun to watch.

Of course I do like this card! Not only does it has a great ability, it can also deal magic damage that is quite useful in many situaltion. Also let us not forget that it has a very adorable card art!
