Fighting with Diemonshark
DIEMONSHARK
Edition: CHAOS LEGION π
Rarity: RARE π·
Element: WATER π
Abilities: TRAMPLE π
Hi everyone! Thank you for checking out my battle using Diemonshark but first, let me give you a quick introduction about this monster. Diemonshark is from the Chaos Legion Edition and is a Rare, Water Element Monster Card. It has the Ability TRAMPLE at level one, ENRAGE at level 4 and RETALIATE at level 7. Overall, it has a great potential to be a devastating frontline that can deal a huge amount of damage but at the same time is bulky enough to take hits. Unfortunately, it has 2 major competition in the role that is Serpent of Eld and Djinn Oshannus which both has a specific niches of their own. But what Diemonshark set itself apart from its competitors is the ability to be good at defending against physical or magical damage. Now, to see the full effect of Diemonshark in silver legue, you can check out my game replay here: Click Here on how I used it to win a battle.
And without further ado, Here is the Battle! π₯π₯π₯
Ruleset βοΈ
Target Practice
All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
Spreading Fury
All Monsters have the Enrage ability.
βΆοΈ Initial Game plan: βοΈ
My game plan here is simple, I need to have a frontline tank, more specifically Diemonshark, and a secondary tank that the snipers will targer, that is Djinn Oshannus. This way, the enemy would not be able to outlast me while I attack using the brute force of my team.

βΆοΈ Purpose βοΈ
Diemonshark will be very crucial in winning this match since I know that magic and range attacks won't be tageting it any time soon thanks to the ruleset, it could not only outlast the enemy frontline thanks to its superior bulk but also stack up on trample damage if it ever managed to grab a kill.

βΆοΈ Purpose βοΈ
Hardy Stonefish will be my sneak shield to protect my team from them since I have quite the weakness with my backline.
βοΈ Round 1
As the game started, I was surprised and afraid at the sight of YODIN ZAKU. This match would not be that easy.
βοΈ Round 2
As expected, this match would be tough but so far, I was able to survive the first round thanks to the plan that I laid out.
βοΈ Round 3
I was able to chip away at the health of their frontline but I can see that SPIRIT HOARDER will not be able to last long thanks to the enemy's blast ability. But if I do say so myself, it was to my advantage if my team is damaged a little bit since enrage will be triggered and all my stats will be boosted.
βοΈ Round 4
Diemonshark is now on the loose!!! π₯π₯π₯ It managed to grab a kill that activates his TRAMPLE ability. The enemy is missing all of their attacks thanks to the speed boost ENRAGE offers.
βοΈ Round 5
As the game closes, magic attacks rained my opponent to oblivion! π₯
Result β οΈ
I won! Even with the enemy's stronger Summoner, my team manage to win by rendering the opponent's brute force into nothingness.
π³οΈ Did your strategy work?
An oustanding yes! Diemonshark really carried us to victory with that impressive tanking capabilities of his with the help of his teamates. Without their combined effort, I would not be able to win against my stronger opponent.
π³οΈ What will you try differently next time?
Next time, I will maybe try rearranging my team alittle bit if I where to have this kind of matchup again but I'm not quite sure about that since I arranged my team to be as rounded as much as I can.
π³οΈ Did I like this strategy? Why or why not?
Yes and I use it quite often on my match since it has a good balance of offense and defense. It has the longevity to last for a good time while also dishing out large amount of magic damage to the enemy.
π³οΈ Do I like Diemonshark? Why or why not?
Yes I do! It may not have the DODGE ability SERPENT OF ELD have against physical attack nor the VOID ability DJINN OSHANNUS have to nulify magic damage, DIEMONSHARK has the bulk, armor and speed to tank both without any issues. It seats in a sweetspot where it was not excellent in either but is quite good at both so I don't have to choose.
