Adventures with Grum Flameblade
My adventure with Grum Flameblade
Hi guys! Today I will be sharing with you my battle using the Legendary card, Grum Flameblade. Grum Flameblade is a monster card that has a lot of potential and is really fun to use in general. It has the capability of sweeping an entire team on it's own with the right setup with it's bloodlust. It can also be a decent tank with it's Void Armor in level 1.

Sand Worm is slow cab miss a lot but When it managed to hit something, it will sure bring pain. The health of Sand Worm also helps in the situation where if both of my frontline dies, there will still be a monster to absorb some hits.

ABILITY
Sneak
Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster
Purpose
Tenyii Striker is a good card to have in the back of your team to serve as protection from sneak attacks. The only reason I didn't put him at the very back is because I don't want to lose him quickly since he lacks armor.
4th Flank:
Uraeus

ABILITY
Sneak
Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster
Purpose
Uraeus is a great unit to have in the back since he has an armor and mediocre speed. He could protect the back quite well for his mana cost.
Ruleset ✔️
Explosive Weaponry
All Monsters have the Blast ability.
Healed Out
All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.
Round 1
I was quite scared at the sight of my opponent's team. Not only that that he has a strong frontline but we also have a speed tie on our Serpentine Spy. Everything was in the will of the RNG gods!
Round 2
It is not looking good! I was the first one to lose my Serpentine Spy and most of my unit can be easily picked by the enemy's Opportunity Card.
Round 3
The flanks managed to secure us the victory! not only did they not missed, They were aslo able to handle the enemy's onslaught.
Result ☠️
In the end, I managed to win even with the powerful start of the opponent.
Did your strategy work?
It did! As soon as I saw that the ruleset is Explosive Weaponry, I know that I have to use Grum Flameblade. Not only that He could survive this chaotic fight, he could also grab a kill from the back using blast. This may not happened all according to my plan, It was still a success because Grum Flameblade still managed to live until the end!
What will you try differently next time?
Maybe I'll try exchanging my Serpentine Spy for a more tankier monster. I'll also rely on the RNG less next time since I picked Sand Worm who is quite a hit or miss unit.
Did I like this strategy? Why or why not?
I did quite enjoy this strategy since it is too RNG reliant with how slow most of my units are. It added the thrill of gambling into the match which makes it more interesting and fun.
