Tuesday was a pretty interesting day for me. I believe that for those who like Hive games and are up to date with Splinterlands, you will have noticed that there has been a considerable increase in the value of SPS. Well, I have a sensational story in Hive of not being able to take advantage of the opportunities that appear when they are related to the games and this time, it was very different since I was able to take advantage of this value and exchange SPS for the Hive token and DEC.

In these moments, it's nice to have friends to talk to and better understand what we can do in a period of high value of a token. In this case, @coyotelation helped me a lot by exchanging some ideas and he even said that a way to maintain a more sustainable way was to take part of the SPS and exchange it for DEC. That way, I could use this DEC for future rentals.

By unstaking all of my SPS (not that I'm going to get rid of everything), the 4 payments were divided into drops of 6,455 SPS. With that, on Tuesday of this week I was able to convert part of this SPS to get 200 Hive that will be used to do a Power Up on May 1st. Along with that, I've been doing the daily PU since the beginning of this month and by all indications, I'll be able to finish my first monthly PU challenge!

With another part, I got exactly 30,000 DEC, which will help me with the rentals of cards and SPS, which I was super excited to earn more of, so I made sure to rent 100k and make the most of this rental period to earn more SPS, just thinking about the future.

The cool thing is that in all this fun, I still had about 27 Hive left over in L2, to add some values ​​to pools or, if I need to buy something, it's always good to have a reserve to take advantage of any opportunity that may arise. Usually I end up investing everything and end up with nothing, so this time I wanted to leave it there to be able to take advantage of it in case something comes up.

Now, one detail, at the time I wrote this post, the same SPS value dropped a lot. On Tuesday, the same 6,455 SPS was hitting somewhere around 350 to 370 Hive, I don't remember exactly, but now the value has plummeted to:

So yes, this time the gaming underdog managed to seize the best moment with a gaming token. Even though I've been quite disappointed with Splinterlands in the last few months (this feeling wasn't just mine), the hype of a new expansion is always incredible. With all this, I've learned that maybe that's how it works, at least with Splinter, where we play, enjoy the game and accumulate as much as possible, waiting until the next expansion, when things move and we make some profit.

That was the impression I had, so I live and learn, now I'm going to try to collect as much SPS as possible and try to get excited about everything again, we have a lot of new things and I confess that I'm super excited about it. Maybe I won't invest much, but I'll keep playing and enjoying the process.

Getting 200 Hive to perform Power Up is amazing for me, after so much time just playing (it's been a while since I posted about Splinterlands) it was good to finally be able to get something out and invest it elsewhere in the Hive, which in this case is in my HP, since my main goal is to reach 20k by the end of the year.

This leads me to believe that I can still have some hope with Rising Star or Terracore, games that also have their respective tokens with reduced value, but that can have a turnaround at any moment.

After reinvesting so much, it's nice to be able to take something from a Hive game and use it to accomplish some other goal. I think focusing on evolving a game is great, but having the freedom and value of its assets to apply elsewhere shows the full power of a web3 game.

Terça-feira foi um dia bem interessante para mim. Acredito que para aqueles que gostam dos jogos da Hive e estão por dentro do Splinterlands, notaram que houve um aumento bem considerável no valor do SPS. Bem, tenho uma história sensacional na Hive de não conseguir aproveitar as oportunidades que aparecem quando estas estão relacionadas com os jogos e desta vez, foi bem diferente já que consegui aproveitar este valor e trocar SPS pelo token Hive e DEC.

Nesses momentos é legal ter amigos para conversar e entender melhor o que podemos fazer em um período de alta de um token. Neste caso o coyotelation me ajudou bastante trocando algumas ideias e ele inclusive falou que uma forma de se manter de forma mais sustentável era pegar parte do SPS e trocar por DEC. Assim conseguiria usar esse DEC para futuros alugueis.

Realizando o unstake total dos meus SPS (não que eu vá me desfazer de tudo) os 4 pagamentos foram divididos em drops de 6.455 SPS, com isso, na terça-feira dessa semana consegui realizar a conversão de parte deste SPS para conseguir 200 Hive que serão utilizados para fazer um Power Up no dia primeiro de maio e juntamente com isso, continuo realizando o PU diário desde o começo deste mês e ao que tudo indica, irei conseguir finalizar o meu primeiro desafio de PU mensal!

Com outra parte, peguei exatamente 30.000 DEC, que vão me ajudar com os aluguéis das cartas e de SPS, este que fiquei super empolgado para conquistar mais, então fiz questão de alugar 100k e aproveitar o máximo possível neste período de aluguel para conquistar mais SPS, justamente já pensando no futuro.

O legal é que nessa brincadeira toda, ainda sobraram uns 27 Hive que deixei na L2, para ir adicionando alguns valores em pools ou, se precisar comprar alguma coisa, sempre é bom ter uma reserva para aproveitar alguma oportunidade que vá aparecer. Geralmente acabo investindo tudo e fico zerado, então dessa vez quiser deixar lá para poder aproveitar caso apareça alguma coisa.

Agora um detalhe, no momento em que escrevo esse post, o mesmo valor de SPS caiu bastante. Na terça, os mesmos 6.455 SPS estavam batendo algo em torno de 350 a 370 Hive, não lembro com exatidão, mas agora o valor despencou para:

Então, sim, desta vez o azarão dos games conseguiu aproveitar o melhor momento com um token de jogo. Apesar de ter ficado bem desiludido com o Splinterlands nos últimos meses (esse sentimento não foi unicamente meu), o hype de uma nova expansão é sempre incrível. Com tudo isso, aprendi que talvez seja assim que funciona, pelo menos com o Splinter, que jogamos, degustamos o jogo e acumulamos tudo o que for possível, esperando até a próxima expansão, onde as coisas se movimentam e assim realizamos algum lucro.

Essa foi a impressão que tive, então vivendo e aprendendo, agora vou tentar juntar o máximo de SPS e tentar me animar novamente com tudo, temos muitas novidades e confesso que estou super animado para isso. Talvez não vá investir muito, mas vou continuar jogando e aproveitando o processo.

Conseguir 200 Hive para realizar Power Up é sensacional para mim, depois de tanto tempo somente jogando (têm um tempo que não posto sobre Splinterlands) foi bom finalmente poder retirar algo e com isso investir em outro lugar da Hive, que no caso é no meu HP, já que tenho principal objetivo chegar em 20k até o final do ano.

Isso me leva a crer que ainda posso ter alguma esperança com o Rising Star ou Terracore, jogos que também têm os seus respectivos tokens com valor reduzido, mas que podem a qualquer momento ter uma reviravolta.

Após reinvestir tanto, é bom poder retirar algo de um jogo da Hive e utilizar isso para completar algum outro objetivo. Acredito que focar em evoluir em um jogo é ótimo, mas ter a liberdade e valor dos ativos do mesmo, para aplicar em algum outro lugar, mostra todo o poder de um jogo na web3.
