Rising Star New Pack Opening & Card Giveaway - Win Rare Card Desmond (Ends Feb. 22, 2022)

A couple weeks ago I had a Rising Star contest and put up a Seasonal Happy Lappy card as the prize.

Let's take a look at the rules for entry from that last post:

In order to qualify for this giveaway, leave a comment telling us whether you are going to buy an S31 Juliet card to play the new Valentine's event, or if you will try to receive one from a random drop in a pack opening. Also make sure you include your username.

Entries will be accepted until February 4, 2022 and I will select one winner of the S28 Happy Lappy.

Next, let's see how many correct entries were received by the deadline: 12.

Let's take a look at the Rare and Seasonal cards I received:

R135 Rosetta: 100 Fans, 75 Skill, 4 Luck

R136 Desmond: 125 Fans, 100 Skill, 3 Luck

R139 Bladesong: 125 Fans, 75 Skill, 3 Luck

R146 Omnistar: 50 Luck

I managed to get four rare cards this time! The Desmond is a duplicate from last time I opened packs and the Rosetta is also a duplicate from an earlier opening, but the Bladesong and Omnistar are brand new ones for me!

Sadly, I have not received the Valentine's seasonal card, Juliet so I haven't been able to complete those missions. After checking the market, they seem a bit pricey so I will miss out on this year's event.

My current RisingStar stats are as follows:

Level 50

I delayed this post a bit because I wanted to hit that level 50 milestone. It feels good to get there because now I qualify for using the Starbits Millionaire card! As of this posting, I have successfully requested and received that card for holding at least 1 million Starbits. I will follow-up in another post with all the details on this exciting new chapter of the game!

I decided to just plunk down the cash and buy the starbits on Hive Engine. It would probably take me at least a year to accumulate a million starbits naturally. I'm hoping the payoff will be worth it.

I plan to get the Starbit Millionaire card eventually, but it is not really up on my priority list, since right now I need to grow my collection, skills and fans to earn faster. If I would go on this pace, I would probably never get to it anyway.

I really don't get much the idea of the millionaire card.. i'm level 68 and i think for low level or low earnings could be better to buy cards with that million Starbits . but idk.

The way I look at it, the card generates 10,000 starbits per day, so it will take 100 days to earn back the cost. The card is "worthless" as in it cannot be re-sold so the profit doesn't start until day 101. It is basically a way to make about $2 consistently every day (at current Starbits prices).
