The Warrior I Became - Tusk the Wide : Splinterlands Art Creation(Contest 343)
Hello All Friend.
Today, I brought to life the Splinterlands battle card character Tusk the Wide by merging my own likeness with the character. I used my face as the base and carefully shaped the artwork to reflect both myself and the warrior. It was a bit challenging to draw myself, but I pushed through and gave it my all.
As I compared myself to Tusk, I started to reflect on what it truly means to be a warrior. The strength, the discipline, the spirit it’s not an easy path. But through this creative process, I felt a powerful connection. Even though I don’t have a beard in real life, I added one to match the character’s look and deepen the transformation.
For this week’s Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest #343, I also crafted my own version of a mystical elven enchantress an ethereal being of incredible magical strength, born from the fantasy realms of Splinterlands.
Concept & Inspiration:
This vibrant hand-drawn illustration captures the raw, early essence of the Coastal Sentry, an elemental guardian of the seas. With a dynamic mix of colored pencil textures and imaginative design, this version radiates character and attitude, blending natural elegance with a subtle menace.
Art Creation Process (Step-by-Step):
- Concept & Planning
The character is a powerful orc warlord who has ascended through sheer brutality and tactical genius. Enchanted armor forged in cursed flame, he commands respect and terror on the battlefield.
Light shading and layering techniques were used to create depth in her feathered attire and body.
Today, I am drawing a card inspired by the Splinterlands battle card, Tusk the Wide, Epic Fire Unit
Splinterlands Card name : Tusk the Wide
“Teddy bear” is often a term used to describe Tusk the Wide. Even as a child, he was larger than the others. Growing up in the rugged landscape of the Timbersea, he has always felt at home in nature.
But more and more often, growing resentment among the populations is boiling over into acts of defiance bordering on treason, and it's the latter that seems to be the focus as of late.
