Rising Star Weekly Update -Another Week - Another 1 Million Starbits Spent adding 16k Fans

It's been another week, so it's time to check in on my rising Star progress. I certainly feel like these weeks fly by from time to time and not much changes to me. But looking back things are really starting to progress towards my goals.

While there isn't a significant change in my earnings week over week there is certainly a significant change in my earnings near to date. Given the fact that I have two and a half times my fan base just this year I am finally starting to get consistent daily earnings to a point that I feel good with my progress. I'll just start to earn enough Star bits each day to seriously pursue faster growth and start to Target some of those more expensive cards to complete the collection. Let's take a look at how I did this last week

No changes on the right hand side, I still seem to have plenty of pizza slices, boxes and birthday cakes to keep me able to refresh my energy whenever needed. While there might be a rare day that I run out I usually just switch over to music lessons for three or four hours.

The stats on the left continued to build nicely. I noticed my rank is going up a little bit faster than it was before and I'm hoping this is due to the XP booster I bought. While I still have a long ways to go to get out of the third island, I think there might be light at the end of the tunnel. I may take a look at buying another booster down the road to nudge me along a little faster.

Card Bought This Since Last Update

When I find most interesting with this week's buys is how significantly different it was from last week. If you look at my post from the week ago I ended up adding over 1,400 cards for 1 million Star bits, targeting mostly fans. In fact I added 1,000 less fans last week, but added 1300 more cards. This week it is clear that the cards I got were much more expensive as shown by grabbing multiple epics as the cheapest fan cards. Well the rest of these were rare cards that while having more fans per card also cost more. I think I managed to get two or three uniques out of this bunch but overall not much new. It's crazy to think that I am locking up 1 million Star bits a week for the past month or two in the form of cards. Well not necessarily reducing the star bit supply, I am walking away assets that can be bought and sold to start bits

I'm going to try to be better about buying cards everyday, or every other day versus waiting until the very end to do it all. I'm wondering if I'll be able to find better prices throughout the week then on whatever day I decide to find to make my purchase. The downside is I may not have as much funds one day versus another, or it'll be harder to buy big chunks and it'll be more work on the record-keeping

• Fans
  Anyway I have 15,000 or more fans is a great week. Clearly well above my target that I said for the year but to keep it going as long as possible. Fans are the life blood of My band and earning potential so there's no point in skipping here.
• Skill Gap
  It was another painful week for skill gap. I lost another 6,000 skill that I had built up cutting further into my buffer. I will need to make sure that I run some music lessons each day. I've been getting very bad at this and pushing for more income inviting my buffer slowly degrade away. I will have to find what time of the day works to run music lessons.
• Total Cards
  Only adding 98 cards was a bit of a disappointment. I know that adding the 1400 cards last week certainly helped my ranking. While my ranking is done a significant goal for me for this year it's always nice to make some headway there will also bind the cheapest fans
• Uniques
  Only got a couple of uniques. The interesting part was the number of epics I was able to buy is the cheapest form of fans. Usually epics are priced well above the cheapest fan price and I'm hoping that they appreciate over time.

2023 Goals

• 300,000 Fans
  Realistically, I am hoping to have this done by the end of May or first week of june. While that's a significant push for me I think it'll be well worth it to continue to build my stack. I am not going to stop adding fans and fully intend on pushing as hard as I can 500,000 or more fans this year.
• 2,500 Skill from Drum Lessons - complete
  Already hit my goal for this year as my lesson is over 2,500 skill per lesson on the top side. I can only assume that I will be buying more drum cards as I see a continual erosion of my ego as I buy more fan cards. I might have to start to add these to my weekly buys just to keep the number of lessons I have to run down
• Ranking
  Nice to see that my ranking climbed a little bit this week. Having a ranking in the top 125 feels pretty good but I know that there is a long ways to break the top 50. I will have to make sure I stay on top of the cheap uniques and and some bulk to my collection from time to time.

Let me know what you think I should do next, or how to improve my band better. I got PIZZA, LUV to tip if they are working.

I have a wish in the back of my mind to start to sell some of my older cards that I have multiples of that have appreciated significantly over time. I would then take all of these Star bits to go right back into buying more current cards that are cheaper, and that will help my stats more. I just don't have any time to look at my current collection and figure out which cards would provide the best value to sell now. I was struggling a bit to visualize the value in the collection like I can more easily do in splintered lands.
