Splinterlands Art Contest Week 201 - Portal Spinner gets Schwifty!

Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub!!! Hello Hive Peeps😁

Tho that phrase means "I am in great pain" it's still a good catch phrase from the adult animated series Rick and Morty which is the indpiration for my art style or concept in this week's art contest.

My entry for this weeks is titled Portal Spinner gets Schwifty!!!

Inspiration

This art is inspired by the Rare Life Splinter Portal Spinner.

While the concept of this art is from Rick and Morty.

It's like Portal Spinner's portal got jumbled up that it came to this universe😁

Drawing and Coloring Process

Drawing Process

I started in making the portal's outline then Portal Spinner's body. It is kind of troubling for me because at first Portal Spinner doesn't look like a girl but after reading the lore I learned that a Portal Spinner is like a profession so it can be a boy or girl. Lesson: Always read the Lore

Next is the making of Portal where Portal Spinner came from

Coloring Process

I colored Portal Spinner First and have to check if it's appropriate at first so I lighten its color a bit since I don't want it to look fierce.

Next is the Portal
I first do its base color.

Then add some effects

More special effects 😂

Here is where I add more special effects haha the shadows and lightening effects ✨

Background

I don't want it to be plain looking just like that so I decided to add background and its name like I did with my past artworks.

This font is from the website of fontspool . But I added some twist and modify it for it to blend with the drawing well.

Then the background is a starry night sky, where Portal Spinner is standing on a cliff.

Then for the finishing touch some stones and a branch that is like the portal where did it come from? 😂
