Splinterlands Season Review
This morning Splinterlands season 168 came to an end. This was the last full season before the new reward cards are released and major changes are implemented for the cost of the draws, chests, etc. So I would like to review my performance last season.
Season Summary
If we take a look at my season end rating and end league you can see that I have returned to Champion Two in Wild league:
Also you can see that my SPS earnings had somewhat of a rebound during the last season and were higher the the last two seasons in Splinterlands. I will dig in further into what changed further in this report:

As you can see most of my time was spent in the Wild League, though I did test Modern league and while my win rate was significantly better in Modern league, I found that difficulty increased as I moved up and Glint and SPS earnings in Modern didn't warrant more time to be spent there. I still need to work on improving my modern deck.

As you can see my earnings went up in almost every category so some of this increase is clearly attributable to a longer Splinterlands season. This season was sixteen days. However we also see a flip back from last season to staking rewards being less than ranked rewards. I have increased my SPS holdings, since last season so that is surprising to see.
Perhaps it is attributable to the higher win rate. This season my win rate was 51.22% in 490 battles vs. last season 49.31% in 432 battles.

Here you can see that I have purchased all of the chests last season, but this season I will not be doing that and will save all my glint for the new reward cards.
I already have 936,312 Glint tokens saved up, so should be able to do some purchasing right away...

Legendary cards continue to evade me, you would thing with all those chests I would get some legendary cards, but no there is only one BCX in 480 chests ...

I even managed to get a legendary card in the league advancement chests :)
Closing notes
All in all another solid season, it would be interesting how my rewards will compare to this season in the next few season as we are switching to a new reward system in Splinterlands in the middle of this season.
