SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! MAGI NECROSI

Not every battle can be won, sometimes your opponent just has better cards. This was the case in this battle that took place in a Wild format and featured my fully Modern team vs Older and more powerful cards. I did do my best here, but sometimes it is just not good enough:

MAGI NECROSI!

Using Magi Necrosi in a battle!

THEME: MAGI NECROSI

*Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: EPIC
Element: DEATH
Attack: MAGIC
Abilities: Snipe, Camouflage

If you're looking for a powerful monster to add to your Splinterlands lineup, the Magi Necrosi is definitely worth considering. While its abilities can be negated, it has a number of important abilities that make it a formidable opponent on the battlefield. With Snipe, Camouflage, Oppress, and Stun, the Magi Necrosi can deal damage, stay safe, and control the enemy team, all at a reasonable mana cost. Give the Magi Necrosi a try and see how it can improve your strategy in battles.

The Ruleset

Only magic monsters are allowed, all monsters have amplify ability and all monsters have scattershot ability

The Strategy

When it comes to developing a strategy for Splinterlands battles, there are a variety of factors to consider, such as which summoner to use, which monsters to deploy, and how to best utilize their abilities. In this particular case, the strategy revolves around utilizing Thaddius Brood summoner to reduce enemy magic damage while deploying a tank with reflect, as well as Magi Necrosi to deal magic damage while staying hidden.

Also, Life Sapper has a Redemption ability which deals one damage to all monsters when it dies. This should have been particularly effective in combination with Thaddius Brood reducing health of the whole enemy team.

Magi Necrosi is another important component of this strategy. This monster has several powerful abilities, including snipe, camouflage, oppress, and stun. By utilizing its camouflage ability, it can remain hidden while dealing three magic damage to enemy monsters.

The Summoner

In Splinterlands, there are many different summoners with unique abilities to choose from. One of the most intriguing is Thaddius Brood, a four mana summoner from the Death Splinter. Thaddius has the ability to reduce the health and magic damage of the opponent by one, which can be a game-changer in the lower leagues where few cards have more than two magic damage.

Thaddius reduces the health of all enemy monsters by one if they have more than one hp (it will not kill the monsters that have only one health). This initial damage can be thought of as dealing one damage to all monsters with more than one hp, which is a great advantage to have. If your opponent has multiple monsters on the board with more than one health, Thaddius can deal significant damage before you even start playing your cards.

In summary, Thaddius Brood is an excellent summoner with a unique set of abilities that can be extremely valuable in the lower leagues of Splinterlands. If you're looking for a summoner that can help you gain an advantage on the battlefield, Thaddius is definitely worth considering.

1st Slot - magic reflect tank

Djinn Muirat, a legendary chaos monster in the death unit, costs nine mana to be summoned onto the battlefield and attacks with magic. With void armor that limits damage from enemy magic attacks, it's a formidable opponent. Its brutal magic attack against high mana monsters is also hard to ignore.

2nd Slot - Poison fast magic attack monster

Venari Bonesmith is in the Death family and acts as a life leech and applies poison to the enemy team, effectively destroying their monsters. This lethal combination of abilities makes this Death card a formidable opponent.

3rd Slot - magic attack monster with redemption ability

Another magic attack monster with life leech and also with the redemption ability.

4th Slot - hidden magic attack monster

Magi Necrosi is a 3 magic attack monster that stays hidden until it moves up to the first position. Unfortunately my Magi Necrosi isn't maxed out for Diamond so it lacks Stun ability which would have been particularly useful in this battle due to scattershot.

The Battle

In Round One we had a magic attack exchange with Magi Necrosi hitting first monster instead of the second monster due to the scattershot, that wasn't the best of luck in my opinion. It would have been better to take out Pixie with one shot.

The opponent used Serpentine Mystic and a reflecting tank in the first position both of which were a great move.

In Round Two the opponents Gold Dragon took out three of my front monsters with a single shot. That card is just too powerful in this ruleset

Redemption helped but due to reduced speed Gold Dragon fired first and it was a close loss :(

Not every battle can be won, this is a part of the game!
