I don't think this will make CL cards more useless.

  1. You can still use them in Survival mode which is the most profitable mode in terms of SPS right now
  2. You can still use them in Wild mode where SPS earnings are about half of Modern mode
  3. You can still use CL cards on land where they get more production points than Rebellion or CA cards

In fact I think CL cards will not drop much in price after it goes to the Wild Format. I can see it dropping just below $600 for the full set value before recovering above that mark again. Take a look at the value of the CL full set over the last 6 months:

What! a full set of CL cards is only worth $600? That's horrible! I have never played the new mode. I might have to check it out. I am afraid to lose my cards though.

Yep! This has been the case for over a year now. I believe the lows were around $400 buck area :)
