Hello Hivers and Warriors in Splinterlands, hope you all are having a great time enjoying your battles in Splinterlands. The Season just ended and let's fight for some new amazing rewards. Having battles in Splinterlands is always a good choice to spend your time. I enjoy those battles in Splinterlands and had great time in opening Rebellion packs. And today I would like to share a battle and my reflection

The Battle Rules

59 Mana Cost
Even Stevens: Only monsters with even mana cost could be used in the battles.
Broken Arrows: Range attack monsters may not be used in battles.
Up to Eleven: All monsters have the amplify ability.

The Lineup

Summoner

The THADDIUS BROOD is the Death summoner which debuff my enemy in the battle with -1 health and -1 magic. The reason behind I pick him is that there are total three kinds of attack which are Melee, Range and Magic. Due to the Broken Arrows rule-set, the possibility of my enemy could only goes to Melee and Magic type of attack. As I could have Demoralize ability to reduce the melee attach of enemy by my front tank, I pick -1 magic damage debuff for my summoner.

Front Row

The HARKLAW is a outstanding front tank in Death element as it has the Shield ability to reduce the melee and range attack received in battle while having the Demoralize ability to reduce the melee attach of enemy is a great thing.

Second

The ARACHNE THUG does well in my second place with the reach ability, which allows the monster to attack even if it is melee type. Plus, the trample is also a cherry on the top in case my ARACHNE THUG kills 1 enemy and then perform one more attack.

Third

The WILL-O-WISP is super cool since it has 2 debuff which -1 health and -1 magic attack to my enemy while having 12 health and only costing 6 mana. It is tanky but with no attack. We will have higher win rate if we combine it with weapon training in battles. It is totally a beast.

Fourth

The SKOK DUSKBLIGHT is the SB Legendary reward card that we can only obtain from daily focus chests. The abilities are unbelievable since it has the so call weapon training that allows the adjacent unit to share the same attack type while up to 3 damage. The resurrect also increases the survivability of teammates.

Fifth

The RIFTWING shares the same concept with my WILL-O-WISP to be the adjacent unit of my SKOK DUSKBLIGHT under the weapon training to gain 2 magic attacks. Besides, the headwind has no use under this battle rule set since we can not use range monsters. But the Scavenger ability could make it tanky.

Sixth

The MAGI OF CHAOS is just the last unit with magic attack for me. As I already have 2 melee monster in the front space, I need more damage at the back of my team to kill the enemy monsters.

Battle Result

It was an epic battle that with good strategy, I can focus on debuff the melee and magic damage in battle by eliminating the range type of attack. Meanwhile, the weapon training really helps me a lot since I can turn the two powerful monsters with no attack into magic attack. After make sure all my enemy is debuffed by my monster abilities, my back line monsters are safe enough to eliminate all the enemies. Definitely an awesome battle.

I have over 90% of winning chance against my enemy if we are having the max level of Gold League which shows that I used the right strategy. However, I took this win by luck this time as most of my SB reward cards are level 1 only which only do not have the full abilities.
