Here Comes The Moo!!

2025_SMC_41.png

Hello there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!

Loving the Moo.png

In less than 4 days, the Conflicts for the airdrop card **Calamity** will finally end, and we will finally get to see this menace in the battle arena. At the same time, that also means that the upcoming airdrop will be Archon cards. If you remember, these Archons were made by collaborating with the top 6 players who bought the set during the presale, and the first Archon to be airdropped was Loving the Moo.

The Fourth Airdrop Card

Loving the Moo has a 7 mana cost, and this will likely be the same mana cost for the rest of the Conclave Arcana airdrop Archons. It is a Water element card with the Canisan bloodline, but for its Bloodline Dominion, it has a Dual Bloodline, being able to summon units which is either a Canisan or an Elemental, regardless of their element, as well as give them the Poison ability with a 50% chance to apply Poison on a successful attack. As of this moment, there are 6 units, each with the Canisan and Elemental Bloodline (if we exclude the CA rewards) that Loving the Moo can summon, which are as follows.

Canisan Units
Elemental Units
Shapeshift Units

Aside from the units with Canisan and Elemental Bloodline, it can also summon another 4 units, as well as benefit from its Bloodline ability and treat them with the same Bloodline due to their Shapeshift ability. Finally, Loving the Moo can also grant up to 2 units with the Blast and Magic Reflect ability as part of its Tactics ability.

blast.png BlastDeals an additional 50% damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target.
magic reflect.png Magic ReflectReturns 50% of damage to the attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack.

Right now, I can't really say how effective Loving the Moo will be in battle in comparison to Archons like Cryptic and Elias Max Pruitt, which I often use and have the same water element, but there will also be the upcoming Conclave Arcana rewards that can synergize well with this Archon.

Airdrop Requirements

To get a guaranteed copy of Loving the Moo, a player will need to have a minimum of 1200 entries, with each entry worth 100,000 Points. It's 300 entries higher than Calamity, and makes acquiring it becoming more difficult. The chance to receive the airdrop card from each entry has also dropped to 0.083333%.

For every 25 cards they get, a player will get a guaranteed Gold Foil version of the card, and by using 50 alchemy potions per card, it can be reduced so that the guaranteed comes for every 13 copies. Players can also use 50 Midnight potions per entry to increase the chance of getting a Black Foil version of the card to 0.20% from its base chance of 0.10%.

Potion TypeBoostCost Per Card
AlchemyGold Foil chance 4% → 8%50 potions
MidnightBlack Foil chance 0.1% → 0.2%50 potions
Jackpot Additions

At the end of the conflict, there will be 1 Black Foil Arcane and 5 Gold Foil Arcane versions of Loving the Moo that will be added in the Conclave Arcana Jackpot Prices and can only be acquired through any of the Conclave Arcana packs except for the starter pack. There is also the mint #1 Black Foil version of the card, but that will be given to lovingthemoo as a reward for being in the top 6 of the presale leaderboard.

Conclave Arcana Partial Reveal Pt. 3

Pt.1Pt.2
1.png2.png

In part one, you only get to see the art and the Bloodline of the card, and in part 2, a portion of the name is shown and gives a hint to one of its abilities as well as its mana cost, armor and speed. For the 3rd tease, you will see its full name, its health, magic damage, and it's first ability. Full reveal will be tomorrow along with the card break down.

So, the card's name is Torrent Sniper, and by its name, it was given that Snipe is one of its abilities. It is a 7-mana card with 9 health, 3 armor, 3 speed, and 3 magic damage. Being an Avian, there is currently no Archon that shares the same Bloodline with it; it can still work well with Cryptic if you give it the Expose and Poison abilities or with Loving the Moo if you give it the Blast and Magic Reflect during Tactics Stage.

Closing

And now, I will end this post with a reminder to everyone to prepare their battle wagons and wagon kits, with the Conflict for Calamity ending on October 20, so that you will get as many entries as you can for the next Airdrop.

Thank you, and see you on the next post!
