Devil May Cry Guide – Part 8
(Edited)
Hey guys, welcome to the eighth part of my Devil May Cry guide. Last time I told you how to quickly escape from a sinking ship, how to overcome a spiky area, and also the location of a few valuable items. The enemies and secrets hidden in the following areas are quite a challenge, so be prepared.

When you start the fifteenth mission you will be in the large esplanade where you met the giant bird, before continuing go back to the skull engraved on the wall at the beginning of the previous mission. Examine it to access a secondary mission.

You will have to face three Shadow demons in a narrow corridor, the least convenient place to battle against these dangerous beasts, but the rotating corridor full of spikes can be even worse. If you're lucky, the three Shadows won't appear all at once, but first one, after a while another and after a few seconds the third, so act quickly and forcefully so that you don't have your work cut out for you. When you kill them all you will get the fragment of the blue obre. Go all the way back to the large esplanade.

The first time you were here, there were three doors that you could not open. Now you have access to the two at the ends. You can enter the one you want first, but if you don't follow the steps below, the location of some objects will change. So enter first through the door that radiates red energy.

Approach the lighted area and get the Luminite, a more than decent flashlight. Go down the stairs but watch out for the fire-breathing demons. At the bottom is a statue to purchase items and you can smash the cracked wall to reveal a hidden room full of destructible barrels and red, yellow and green orbs.

Go through the door to appear in a rotating corridor with spikes. Activate the two symbols and if you are low on demonic energy go up the stairs in front of the second one to find a DT meter restorer. However your objective is the door on the right at the end of the corridor. Jump across the platforms to reach the Pair of Lances. Grabbing it will make the platforms disappear, so drop down into the pit where two lizard demons await. Go all the way back to go outside.

Go through the door that radiates blue energy on the other side of the outer corridor. This area is structured similarly to the previous one. The cracked wall leads to a room with barrels, red orbs, a green orb, a holy water and a blue orb fragment. Behind the door you will find another rotating corridor with spikes, but this time several demons with scissors are waiting for you. The door on the left leads to a DT meter restorer and the one on the right to a poison-filled pit that you must cross (use Air Raid) to reach a new weapon whose bullets bounce off the walls.

Go outside again and enter the door with the two knights to access the coliseum. If you use either of the teleporters at either end you will appear on an upper tier where two healing orbs await. You may need them later. Cross the highest bridge and when you reach the middle a blue gift will fall from the sky. Go down to the ground and stand in the center circle for an old foe to appear.

There are two ways to develop this new battle against this boss: either at ground level, or on the upper floor of the Colosseum walls. Here I recommend the first one for a simple reason: there is no danger of falling and having to climb again. In this confrontation, the bird surprises you with a new attack: energy columns that are directed at you. To avoid them, aim and move left and right to “slip” through the gaps between them. In the meantime, don't stop shooting, because this way you recover some demonic energy. When you damage the bird enough, it will lose a wing and the fight will continue on the ground: equip yourself with Ifrit and don't stop hitting it.

When the fight is over you will meet Mundus. The giant bird will disappear forever and Trish will materialize to chat briefly with Dante. Ride the platform that appears in the center of the colosseum and descend on it. When you pick up the Wheel of Destiny, the mission will end.

Well that was all, thank you very much to those who take the time to read me and especially to those who are supporting me.

I have recently watched devil may cry series by Netflix. It was really good didn't expect there is also a game. Anyway, is it similar to origin story?
Nope, the games and the Netlfix show are two entirely different things. The games came several years before the show and the origin story in the game's universe is told in the third game.

I remember when I played this installment for the first time, the fights were amazing, it was one of the things I loved the most, the enemy bosses and the fights.
I have never played a DMC game although they are seemingly universally loved. I have heard from some people that they are quite difficult too. If you have played all of them, would you have a recommendation for novice players to have a look?
