Devil May Cry Guide – Part 4

Hey guys, welcome to the fourth part of my Devil May Cry guide, in the last part I told you how to defeat a couple of tough enemies, plus how to beat a segment of the game with a harrowing countdown. Well, get ready because today we'll take a few laps to find some important items, and I'll tell you how to defeat several powerful enemies.

1.jpg

When you start the sixth mission, just go to the back wall and approach the small hole in the wall on the left to get a precious blue orb fragment that will fall from above. Go through the other side of the tunnel and around the corner pass through the door on the right. At the back of this new room you will see a glowing object inside a pipe. It's a key so pick it up and get ready to face a few demons.

Get rid of them to exit the room and on the opposite wall you will see a small tunnel that leads to several green orbs and a red orb generator that is activated by hitting it.

Back in the main tunnel, go forward until you reach a door where you must use the key. Follow the tunnel and you will see another fork that leads to more green orbs. Return to the main tunnel and continue until you are confronted by a demon with scissors.

This sub boss is harder to fight than the other demons with scissors that appeared before; to top it off, there is an impenetrable energy field that surrounds the place of combat. The best strategy is to jump constantly to avoid his attacks and fall on him with your sword. When you defeat him, go to the corner to collect the Guiding Light.

In the next mission, you will again have time against you because as long as Dante has the Guiding Light in his possession, his vitality will gradually diminish. Go back the way you came and your old enemy, the giant scorpion, will appear for the third time. Instead of facing him, go to the door you opened with the key; a couple of green orbs will be waiting for you to recover vitality, then cross the door to leave the scorpion behind.

Go through the tunnel and defeat the demons with scissors to unlock the door with the lion face. Go through it, get rid of the flying fly-like enemies and activate the elevator to reach the bedroom. Use the Guiding Light on the sun symbol to reveal a secret door. Then, go through it to end the mission.

Now you will appear above the main hall from the beginning of the game. If you jump to the other side and cross the door, the next mission will start, but since you don't lose vitality now, you can go back to pick up things you forgot before or head back to the lower tunnels. If you do the latter in the room where you faced the fly demons after collecting the key, you can access a secondary mission.

26.jpg

In this one, two giant demonic spiders are waiting for you. Besides throwing rocks at Dante, they can jump on him or attack him with their front legs. To get the precious blue orb fragment you have to make one spider kill the other so you can either stand in the middle of the two and jump aside when they attack or climb on a pipe and let them do the dirty work for you. When one dies, you will get the reward. Whether or not to kill the surviving one is up to you.

28.jpg

Now, after you jump through the area above the main hall that I told you, you will appear in a room where there is a statue to purchase items, so jump to the top to collect the red orbs and go through the door that is just above the one you used to enter this place. When you go outside, go to the courtyard whose center is glazed and try to get close to the door so that it closes and your old foe, the scorpion, will appear again.

This boss comes with the same gadgetry as before, but now he has the ability to throw fire meteors. This time you have no columns to hide in, so the hit, run, hit tactic is the most appropriate. Head and thorax are still his weak points, although there is another way to kill him without hitting him: if he jumps a few times on the glass floor, it will shatter and the monster will fall through it.

After witnessing the death of the annoying scorpion and Trish's brief cameo, you can now cross the darn door. Drop down to the lower courtyard and pick up the trident from the ground. If you perch on either of the two horse statues you can climb up to the ledge above to reach another blue orb fragment. Then drop down through the hole between the two statues.

In this room, you must activate the white illuminated lever with a sword to lower a drawbridge and open a trap door on the floor. Next to it is a skeleton who will no longer need the grenade launcher in his hands. When you take it from him, go down the trapdoor.

41.jpg
42.jpg
43.jpg

Stick the trident you have in the slot of the statue in front of the sinister face on the wall to start a hydraulic mechanism that opens a barred door to a room on the floor below. You have a few seconds to reach it, so quickly go through the door and down the spiral staircase. Go through the other door and, if you are fast enough, pass under the descending door.

46.jpg

If you don't make it in time, go back upstairs, insert the trident again, and try to get there faster. Before you cross the doors to finish the mission, jump to the right corner because there is a blue orb fragment hidden there.

Well that was all, thank you very much to those who take the time to read me and especially to those who are supporting me.
