Interview with streamers + Giveaway (ENG / ESP) - NewenX

This time I move away from my usual posts (guides) to start a series of interviews to get to know a little more about the stremears that we see every day and make us enjoy more and more games like Rising Star, Splinterlands, Stream Raiders, etc.
This time we bring you @Newenx.

What is your name?

Full name: Edgardo Nehuen Pastor

How old are you?

31

Where are you from?

Mendoza, Argentina

Do you play an instrument? Do you sing?

I play drums and guitar, I also sing, or at least I try, lol

How did you enter the Crypto world?

I entered thanks to Jux at the end of 2017. Thanks to his Atom Collector Records project I got to know Musicoin, a platform similar to Soundcloud but that paid in crypto for plays.

Do you have any hobbies?

I could say that being a gamer is my hobby, in a way it became my "job" thanks to Play to Earn, but gaming outside of blockchain is still my hobby.

What does NewenX mean and why do you have that nickname?

Newen is my real name, only the way of writing it changes, I added the X to give a special touch to the artistic name, but it has no particular meaning, it is rather an ornament.

What is your favorite streamer and why?

Currently where I have the best time is in Drabs stream, his streams are entertaining, but it's mainly because we have a lot of things in common personally and we have become friends because of that.

How did you get to Risingstar?

Precisely because I knew Jux from before he created the game, so I got in at the beginning, although I didn't play it until recently, unfortunately.

How long have you been streaming?

I started doing streams in July 2020, but my content at that time had nothing to do with the crypto world, it was mainly League of Legends. But it was about 6 months of being full active and then I quit because it didn't fill me up, I tried to come back in 2021 but I didn't feel it interesting either. It was Rising Star and its community that made me find comfort doing streams and that made sense to me.

What motivated you to become a streamer?

I consider myself a fun person, I like to entertain people, but in real life I'm very introverted and shy, but in the stream I'm free. I like to help, share my knowledge, but my main idea has always been to generate a big enough community so that what I can offer is epic. I take as an example the streamer Clove, who many must know. A humble person who has earned everything she has by working hard and giving her all for the community and now finds herself in an excellent position where her possibilities to help the community are immense. That is my goal, not only as a streamer but in life in general, to help those who deserve it and have not gotten that opportunity to grow and even motivate them to aspire to much more than what they already do, many have the capacity and ability and just need a little push! As I always say, you get what you give, and if the community grows, I grow, and if I grow, we all grow.

What do you like the most about streaming and what do you like the least?

The chatting, the interaction with people, the reciprocity with the community, as I said before, I like to entertain people and through a screen it's much easier for me. And the truth is, there's nothing I don't like about doing streams, maybe the fact of having to follow schedules, I never really liked that haha, but it's not a big deal, you get used to it, and with how much fun I have in the streams, I'm always anxious for the time to come, so I wouldn't take it as something I don't like.

What do you think is the best thing about Risingstar?

The main thing is its community, starting with Jux, I've known him for almost 5 years, and he is one of the best people I've met, always attentive and willing to give everything for his projects and what he loves to do. If we talk about the game itself, its economic system seems excellent to me, everything is very well thought out so that it is not super exploitable and motivates you to reinvest a lot. The game is much more complex than it seems, there are many things to take into account and think well your strategies to grow!

What do you wish it had or what do you think it lacks?

Truth be told, nothing, it's super balanced at the moment, any changes would have to be thought through very well, but truth be told, I see it as super complete already.

Is there anything about you that you'd like to tell me that I haven't asked you?

The truth is I'm not very good at telling things about myself that haven't been asked, hahaha, but still, I think your questions were very good, thanks for the good vibes and keep growing Sarpi!

Toco la batería y la guitarra, y sí, también canto, o al menos lo intento lol

¿Como entraste al mundo Crypto?

Entre gracias a Jux a finales del 2017. Gracias a su proyecto de Atom Collector Records conocí Musicoin, una plataforma similar a Soundcloud pero que pagaba en crypto por las reproducciones.

¿Tenes algún hobbie?

Podría decir que ser gamer es mi hobbie, de cierta forma se convirtió en mi “trabajo” gracias a los Play to Earn, pero los juegos fuera de blockchain siguen siendo mi hobbie.

¿Qué significa NewenX y porque tenes ese apodo?

Newen es mi nombre real solo cambia la forma de escribirlo, la X se la agregué para darle un toque especial al nombre artístico, pero no tiene un significado particular, es más bien un adorno

¿Cuál es tu streamer favorito y por qué?

*Actualmente donde mejor me la paso es en stream de Drabs, sus streams son entretenidos, pero es principalmente porque tenemos muchas cosas en común en lo personal y nos hemos hecho amigos por eso. *

¿Como llegaste a Risingstar?

Justamente porque conocía a Jux desde antes que creara el juego, entonces entre al inicio, aunque luego no lo jugué hasta hace poco, lamentablemente.

¿Hace cuanto que stremeas?

Empecé a hacer streams en Julio del 2020, pero mi contenido en ese entonces no tenía nada que ver con el mundo crypto, era principalmente League of Legends. Pero fueron unos 6 meses de estar full activo y luego lo dejé porque no me llenaba, intenté volver en el 2021 pero tampoco lo sentí interesante. Fue Rising Star y su comunidad lo que me hizo encontrar la comodidad haciendo streams y que tuviera sentido para mí.

¿Qué te motivo a convertirte en streamer?

Me considero una persona divertida, me gusta entretener a las personas, pero en la vida real soy muy introvertido y tímido, pero en el stream soy libre. Me gusta ayudar, compartir mis conocimientos, pero mi idea principal siempre ha sido lograr generar una comunidad lo suficientemente grande como para que lo que pueda ofrecer sea épico. Tomo como ejemplo la streamer Clove, que muchos la deben conocer. Una persona humilde que se ha ganado todo lo que tiene trabajando duro y dándolo todo por la comunidad y ahora se encuentra en una posición excelente en la que sus posibilidades de ayudar a la comunidad son inmensas. Ese es mi objetivo, no solo como streamer si no en la vida en general, ayudar a quienes lo merecen y no han conseguido esa oportunidad de crecer e incluso motivarlos a aspirar a mucho más de lo que ya hacen, ¡muchos tienen la capacidad y la habilidad y solo necesitan un empujoncito! Como siempre digo, uno recibe lo que da, y si la comunidad crece, crezco yo, y si crezco yo, crecemos todos.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de stremear? ¿Y qué es lo que menos?

La charla, la interacción con la gente, la reciprocidad que hay con la comunidad, como dije anteriormente, me gusta entretener a la gente y a través de una pantalla se me hace mucho más fácil. Y la verdad, no hay nada que no me guste de hacer stream, tal vez el hecho de tener que cumplir horarios, nunca me gustó mucho eso jaja, pero no es gran cosa, uno se acostumbra, y con lo bien que la paso en los streams, igual siempre estoy ansioso porque llegue esa hora, así que, no lo tomaría como algo que no me gusta.

¿Que pensas que es lo mejor de Risingstar?

Lo principal, es su comunidad, comenzando por Jux, llevo casi 5 años de conocerlo, y es una de las mejores personas que he conocido, siempre atento y dispuesto a darlo todo por sus proyectos y lo que ama hacer. Si hablamos ya del juego en sí, su sistema económico me parece excelente, todo está muy bien pensando para que no sea super explotable y te motiva mucho a reinvertir. ¡El juego es mucho más complejo de lo que parece, hay muchas cosas que hay que tener en cuenta y pensar bien tus estrategias para crecer!

¿Qué te gustaría que tuviera o que pensas que le falta?

La verdad, nada, está super balanceado actualmente, cualquier cambio tendría que ser pensado muy bien, pero la verdad, lo veo super completo ya.

¿Hay algo sobre vos que te gustaría contar que no te haya preguntado?

La verdad no soy muy bueno para contar cosas sobre mí que no haya sido preguntadas, jajaja, pero bueno, igual me parece que tus preguntas fueron muy buenas, ¡gracias por la buena onda y a seguir creciendo Sarpi!
