A person recently wrote to me asking me to do several drawings, but they wanted something semi-realistic. I had to decline. My style is childlike, and I'd been studying it for a long time to achieve this style. This person insisted I try it.
I think people don't realize that having your own style requires a lot of work. Even if you have several styles, it means you've worked hard to perfect each style. A style won't come to you overnight.
Here are some studies I did for the style of the bobbleheads I've been sharing lately.

I love this collection, do these characters have any story or development behind them?

There is a story, but not about each character, a story of mine about how I studied this drawing style and how I gradually perfected it. These drawings were part of that study process. Is there one that inspires a great story in you?

Well, it would be interesting, especially because of how adorable the style is, seeing them in a story with perhaps slightly dark overtones would generate an interesting impact, haha, but I don't know if you think the same.
