Story: Pedestrian.
My dear Hive friends,
I am @samadbro08 from Bangladesh. Today is Wednesday ,September 17/2025
Hi everyone, how are you? I hope everyone is well. Today we will talk about a story called Pedestrian. I hope everyone like it this story .Let's get started.
Thousands of people travel on busy city streets every day. In their crowds, we often see unfamiliar faces, whose identities we don’t know, but their footsteps hide countless stories. One such incident happened one day, when I learned a new lesson in life from a “pedestrian.”
That afternoon, I was returning from office. There was a lot of crowd on the roadside, and the honking of cars was deafening. I was looking for an opportunity to cross the road quickly. Suddenly, I saw an old man slowly trying to cross the road with the help of a stick. There was helplessness in his eyes, and his legs were shaking unsteadily. Although there were countless people around, no one came forward to help him.
I hurriedly walked towards the old man. I held his hand and slowly led him to the other side of the road. When we reached him, he only said, “Father, today you not only illuminated the road, but also my heart.” These few words moved me deeply. We often think that a pedestrian may mean a stranger to whom we have no responsibility. But a little sympathy, a little cooperation often becomes a new light of hope for someone.
We are all pedestrians while walking on the road. Maybe we can become shelter, hope or courage for a moment in the crowd of someone's life. Therefore, not ignoring strangers, but extending a helping hand as needed is the true expression of humanity. And so I am ending my writing about pedestrians here today, I hope everyone likes the story, thank you all.
