Rahe Belayat is a simple and easy way to get close to Allah, Dr. Khandaker Abdullah Jahangir's timeless book. He has beautifully illustrated this Sunnah-based dhikr-ouzifa and guidance for gaining belayat: 'Rahe Belayat' and that is why today I am reviewing this book."
The name "Rahe Belayat" contains a call for spiritual development. In this book, which is a deep analysis of the spiritual aspect of the Islamic way of life, the author has taken the reader on an inner journey, on the path to achieving Allah's satisfaction and true "belayat". Dr. Khandaker Abdullah Jahangir (RA) is one of the contemporary Islamic thinkers of Bangladesh. The characteristic of his writing is that he presents logic, evidence and Quran-Sunnah-based analysis in simple language, so that the reader can understand the matter. The main topic of the book is what it means to be "belayat" or the friend of Allah, and how the path to reaching that status is possible.
The author explains that belayat is not the name of acquiring any supernatural power; rather, it is the result of obedience to Allah, piety, and moral purity. He shows that the real criteria for achieving belayat are faith and action, and the real friends of Allah are those who follow the Quran and Sunnah, and therefore portray a picture of true spirituality in contrast to the misconceptions and wrong practices prevalent in society.
