To Survive on Hive: Don’t crack your Head, just Rack your Brains + Problem Solving Formulas

I'll start this post with asking us some questions that goes like this: why are you on the hive blockchain? Are you here just to make some post and get some upvotes in order to cash out big. Or are you here to acquire knowledge through reading and commenting on well written post or you're here to get angry of hivers not concentrating on your post. To me hive is a place to learn and proffer solutions to societal problems. If your presence on hive is not to proffer solutions to the happenings on hive, then you're at the wrong place. Breaking or cracking your head might just earn you some upvotes on hive, but they might not be problem solving. Greetings from @salvadornkpara.

Remember your head is not a wall that requires cracking, and if you continue to crack it you might break it entirely. Definition of rack one's brain: to think very hard in order to try to remember something, solve a problem, etc.Source

How to Rack Your Brain to Profit the Hive Blockchain

  • Take some time to prepare Before making a post. Some people have failed to do some research on a subject matter before posting a content that they're not professionals in. If I'm writing a post that's not in line with my field of study, let's say economics or crypto inclined content, it'll take me at least two to three days or at some point a week before that post will be published in order to make sense and learn the language of crypto world. For instance, I never knew what the term bear, bull and hodl untill I started asking questions about the language and how to excel in that area. But let it come to cultural heritage and historical writing it'll take me less than an hour to write a post that contains about 800 words. This is achievable because it's my field of study. So wait a minute, what are you thinking about. Just take some time to ask yourself why some of your post gets attention and the other not having some view. Two days ago I made a post on the #informationwar community and no attention was given and I realize that my post might not meet the requirements of that community.
  • Learn through Reading Effectively.
Sometimes you'll see comments and ask yourself if some hivers read some post before they make comments on a post. When you downvote a post that you've not read, who do you feel. To me before I comment on a post I'll read the post effectively in order to effectively engage the post. You can also learn a particular trend by reading some post. For instance I've been learning from @ura-soul on the way he creates contents. There's a way he rights and catch the attention of his audience. Another person that caught my fancy is the way @dswigle meticulously read and respond to post in her #Marketfriend. She's very good about what she does and try to correct you when you're not following the rules of the community. I also learn from @missdeli who is ever ready to bring in new innovations to the #homeedders. Am a better father to my son because of what I see on a daily basis on the Home Edders community.
  • Always be original in your content creation. Originality doesn't mean that the idea most be orthodox to you, but the way you put the idea must be as such that it actually came from you directly. Most persons just copy and paste from the internet and wants to be upvoted as if they had original content. Everybody has the ability to write original content but some don't want to be patient in the process of content creation. Just a little patience, you'll get there.
  • Maintain a storyline. Some people might love your content and expects more from you. But sometimes we move in different directions and they'll get tired of your post. Every curator in the hive blockchain knows what they want and will curate content according to their likes and passion.
  • be consistent on the hive blockchain. Inconsistency is not a growth booster in the blockchain.

Finally, take your time to create contents that are targeted towards solving real life problems. There people that are on the hive blockchain that are here to seek solutions to their daily life problems. Please it takes gradual process to get to your desired height in the blockchain.

I'm so honored and thankful for your words regarding to me! The reason we are here are multiple; for everyone of us. But I truly think that one of the things we all have in common on this platform is to learn from others and be with each other! After all, it is a social platform! I love reading posts from my friends and learning from their experiences, even though it's been hard for me to keep in touch with them and all hivers around here.
I love the communities though!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
